Levels of Satisfaction on the Services of the Philippine National Police among Community Residents at Brgy. Saranay
Guimba Nueva Ecija

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM :

This study wants to determine the level of satisfaction of the services of the PNP Guimba among the community residents at
Brgy. Saranay, Guimba ,Nueva Ecija. Specifically, this study aims to answer the following questions;

1. What is the demographic characteristics of the respondents in terms of :

1.1 Age

1.2 Sex

1.3 Civil Status

1.4 Educational Attainment

1.5 Occupation

2. What are the levels of satisfaction of PNP Services among the community residents of Brgy. Saranay, Guimba, Nueva Ecija
regarding of :

2.1 Drugs & Law Enforcement

2.2 Violence or Violation of Human Rights

2.3 PNP Rules & Regulations and different PNP operations encountered
3. Is there any significant relationship among the demographic characteristics of the respondents and the levels of satisfaction
and levels of effectiveness?

4. What are their encountered problems and their proposed action to improve the PNP services among the residents of Brgy.

The conceptual design shows the relationship between the independent variables and dependent variables of the
study (figure 1)

The independent variable shows the socio-demographic characteristics of the respondents such as age, sex, civil
status, educational attainment, occupation and Level of Effectiveness. These SDC compositions were
conceptualized as having significant correlation with the levels of satisfaction of the PNP Services among the
residents of Bry. Saranay Guimba Nueva Ecija.

METHODOLOGY

Research Method & Design : This study made use of the descriptive-correlational research design as it primarily examined the
relationship between the selected research variables such as socio-demographic characteristics of the respondents of Brgy.
Saranay Guimba Nueva Ecija view in terms of their age, sex, civil status, educational attainment, occupation and Level of
Effectiveness.

Locale of the Study : The respondents of this study will be the selected residents from Brgy. Saranay, Guimba ,Nueva ,Ecija

Research Instrument : The instrument used by the researcher to collect data survey questionnaires .This will be use because it
gather of the (4) parts ,part 1 will be respondents demographic profile while part 2 will contain the level of satisfaction of the

PNP services at Guimba Nueva Ecija , part 3 will be the level of Effectiveness .Last part will be for the comments and
suggestion.

Data Analysis Technique : The statistical tools that will be utilized by the researcher are the mean, frequency counts and
percentage. And a T-test to test the difference between variables. Specifically we will use an Independent T-test.
