first the topic for todays show. So today we will talk about
the “APPROACHES TO CURRICULUM DESIGNING”. The first
one will be the “types of curriculum design model” “ the
approaches to curriculum design model”
H2: And another one is the “CURRICULUM MAPPING” the
benefits of curriculum mapping and lastly, the
“CURRICULUM QUALITY AUDIT”
So let’s starting introducing our guests today.

“Philippine Muslim Teachers’ College of Marawi city.

curriculum designing models, and how can it
help you as a future educator
H1: So, for you miss ROHANA , how do you
understand the concept or nature of subject
centered design?
ROHANA: before I answer that question miss
Jalaliya, I would like to say thank you both for
having me here in your show. So……

H1: Thank you miss Rohana for sharing your
very informative ideas about subject centered
design.
H2: yes. So subject centered design has also
some variations. And one of that is the subject
design.
H2: So miss AMERODEN can you give us or
elaborate precisely the subject design?
AMERODIN: of course miss Mihal. But before
that, thank you so much for making me one of

comprehensive ideas.
H1: and as for you miss LALA, can you
enlighten us about the other variation of
subject centered design which is the
“discipline design”?
LALA: yes miss Jalaliya. Thank you for asking
about it so I can share some ideas about
discipline design. So…

correlation design as one of the variation of
subject centered design.
H2: and miss MAOMIN please share to us the
ideas about the “correlation design”
MAOMIN: So as far as I know, the correlation
design………..(START DISCUSSING)
H1: Yes. That was a such a clear and precise
explaination of the correlation design. And as
far as I know, there is another variation for the
subject centered design which is the broad field
design.
H1: And miss ROHANA will give us the glimpse about the
broad field design. So, miss Rohana can you enlighten us
about the broad field design?
ROHANA: (discussing)
H1: Yes. And thank you ladies. obviously, you are prepared
enough for today’s show because everything was
manifested in your answers. Right Mihal?
H2: Yes Jalaliya. They are all so good and brilliant. But that
was just the starting point of today’s show because there is
more to be discussed.
H2: okay, for the second type of curriculum design model is
The learner centered design and that one will be discussed
by our guest miss MACOTE.

curriculum design which are learner centered.
H1: yes, the first is the child centered design. and I would

curriculum design?

design.

H1: For the Third type of curriculum design model which is
the “problem centered design” will be discussed by miss
ROHANA again.
H1: Miss ROHAMA, can you tell us the concept or nature
of the problem centered design model?
ROHANA: Yes, miss Jalaliya. This type of curriculum design

there are two examples of problem centered design
which are the life situation design and the core problem
design. And miss PANDA will discuss that two design.

about that approaches today.

pertains to a written curriculum?
MEHAL: yes jalaliya. Curriculum mapping is…..

understand the curriculum mapping. But Mehal, I
think majority of our audience today are
wondering why do we need to create such process
in our curriculum. Now can you elaborate the
curriculum mapping in terms of its benefits.

MEHAL: Of course. Curriculum mapping have a lot

of benefits as it serves as a tool for the
development of our curriculum. So here are the
