REFLECTION

Freud’s Psychoanalytic Theory has helped schools in understanding children and

adolescents behavior, that results in aiming to provide a proper learning environment. Young
learners refuse to learn in unfavorable environment with unfavorable educators. They carry with
them the effects of unhealthy home environment and relationships.

Once again, we focus on the importance of proper and healthy school and learning
environment, and the need for teachers and other concerned school personnel who are empathetic
and would show genuine care and respect. With the knowledge of this theory, schools should
provide learning activities that would pique their interest both in academic, curricular and co-
curricular activities. Again, it is ideal that teachers present lessons using different methods and
techniques to continuously have the learners engaged. This topic is clearly related to
individuality and stages of development. As much as possible, teachers should recognize the
deficiencies a student is experiencing for these affects how they learn and how they form
relationships. It may be family problems or perhaps poor health or home conditions. In order to
contradict or balance such negative conditions, the school should try provide positive ones as a
form of treatment.

As I mentioned on my previous reflection paper, I aim to create a learning environment in

which students would feel connected and have a sense of freedom. For them to be able to express
themselves, their creativity, thoughts, opinions, and feelings without being repressed. For them
to have an opportunity to truly grow and learn while having despite having difficulties on certain
learning subjects or skills. I at least hope they can may find what they are genuinely interested at.
