Regular Nouns.

to help you use plural forms of regular nouns. The scope of this
module permits it to be used in many different learning situations.
The language used recognizes the diverse vocabulary level of
students. The lessons are arranged to follow the standard
sequence of the course. But the order in which you read them
can be changed to correspond with the textbook you are now
using.

library. He got two small books. One book was about a
mouse in a church. He read it aloud to his friends. They
said Tuko was a good storyteller and a good friend too.
After reading, Tuko and his friends went to a church.

The teacher call attention to the fact that the sound given
those letters in group A are “not hissing sounds” while the
sound given the last letter of the words in Group B are
“hissing sounds".

Things to Remember

 Most of the regular nouns form their plural by adding -s to the


singular noun.

Examples:
flower- flowers
boy- boys
bag- bags
There is a flower on the table.
The are four flowers on the table.
 Nouns ending in s, sh, ch, and x form their plural by adding
-es to the singular noun.

Examples:
bus- buses
brush- brushes
fox - foxes
beach- beaches
I saw a bus at the terminal.
I saw three buses at the terminal.
