Quezon also known as the father of Filipino Language is the President of Commonwealth in
the Philippines. He help so many people during his presidency years. But one of them that leave me
stunned as he help the Jews despite the fact that there's a count limit. During the war at Israel some
refugees are trying to escape from the war but some countries don't let them in to escape. But our
President of Commonwealth, Manuel L. Quezon opens our land to welcome them and to protect them

aSignificant Contribution Jose Rizal - Noli Me Tangere - (Latin for "Touch me not") is an 1887 novel by
Filipino writer and activist José Rizal published during the Spanish colonial period of the Philippines. It
explores perceived inequities in law and practice in terms of the treatment by the ruling government
and the Spanish Catholic friars of the resident peoples in the late nineteenth century. I choose this
Significant Contribution because it made us Filipinos realize on how Spaniards manipulated our
society to think that they are above God and the Law. It helps the society to realize on what flaws of
the Spaniards are hiding from them. Isabelo Delos Reyes El Ilocano - In 1889 he founded El Ilocano,
said to be the first newspaper written solely in a Philippine vernacular. De los Reyes declared that he
founded El Ilocano to "serve [our] beloved pueblo Ilocos by contributing to the enlightenment of her
children, defending her interests." El Iloco lasted for seven years. I chose this Significant Contribution
because it shows on how they protect and enlighten the future generations on how they cared about
their culture. Andres Bonifacio a Filipino revolutionary hero, founded the Katipunan(KKK) , a secret
society which spearheaded the uprising against the Spanish and laid the groundwork for the first
Philippine Republic. I chose this Significant Contribution because of his bravery despite the
consequences of his actions and for the freedom from the hands of abuse and corruption of Spain on
our fellow countryman in the Philippines
