Dear Mr. Mayor

My name is Nathaly Cevallos Ortiz, a resident of the Chone Canton, express my opinion about the
idea of building a new shopping center, and that is that if it is built, I would ask that it be able to
provide employment opportunities to those small merchants who are now concerned about this same
situation, it must be taken into account that they also work and are part of the livelihood of their
families, these being unable to work would be exposed to economic crises.
On the one hand, his idea of having a shopping center is exceptional because there are none in Chone,
but, on the other hand, taking jobs away from citizens does not benefit the economy of the city in
general. I only hope that this idea serves to provide employment to all who need it and who seek to
develop our city.
