 Conclusions

Based on the results of experiments we found that the spring back affected by
the factors such as
1)strength of material
When increasing of sheet metal strength spring
back increases

 Stress↑ spring back↑ k ↓

2)elastic modulus (E)

A material with higher elastic modulus will show less spring back
than a material with a lower elastic modulus
E↑ spring back↓ k↑

3)temperature Ea>Eb da<db Ka>Kb

when temperature increases, stress decreases so spring back decreases
T↑ stress↓ spring back↓ K↑

4)thickness of sheet
When sheet metal thickness increases, spring back
decreases
because thinner part will have more spring back if
compared to thicker part because thicker part is having
greater stiffness"elastic modulus"
note: stiffness is the resistance to a force causing a member to bend

5)radius of curvature
In this experiment we fixed the radius but in general
When die radius increases, spring back increases
