COMPREHENSIVE WATER SYSTEM IN THE CHANCAY - LAMBAYEQUE VALLEY OF THE LAMBAYEQUE REGION.
The IPC aims to grant a concession for a period of 25 years and contemplates the design, construction and
operation of the so-called integral water system in the Chancay-Lambayeque Valley, through the construction of
two dams (Montería and Sicán) and the execution of conduction and distribution works to irrigate 33,200 new
hectares. Likewise, the operation and maintenance of the existing structures (currently under the management of
the PEOT) will be developed. Currently, the signing of the Institutional Collaboration Agreement between GORE
LAMBAYEQUE, MIDAGRI and PROINVERSIÓN is being managed, which among other aspects, will allow the
change of scope of the IPC.
