What kind of problems trans people may have in Polish society?

Nowadays almost everyone knows a trans gender person. They are parents, siblings, and
kids, our coworkers, our neighbors, and friends. They are 15-year-old children and 60-year-old
grandparents. Even though trans people become more visible and we try to increase understanding
of our community among our friends, families and the public they still have a lot of issues in Polish
society.
First of all trans people are one of the lowest earning groups among all respondents, the
difference also remained significant after taking into account age and place of residence. Usually they
are not accepting by parents and have problems with home living. This people are kicked out of their
home without safe shelter and lack of hygiene. Is important to mention that most of trans people
after coming out lose at least one close person and experience discrimination for this reason.
Moreover trans people receiving medical care in the field of transgenderism say that the
doctor know little or almost nothing about it. 43% of trans people using medical care have
experienced at least one form of discrimination in the last 2 years. 20% experienced insults and
negative comments from the doctor, and 7% were refused treatment. In addition to problems with
physical care to transgender persons most often suffer from physical violence and vandalism.
All thing considered while trans people are increasingly visible in both popular culture and in
daily life, we still face severe discrimination, stigma and systemic inequality. They are just a diverse
community, representing all racial and ethnic backgrounds, as well as all faith traditions.
