I choose corruption as the current issue in our society because for the Philippine business leader
corruption is the top risk for our economic recovery, trumping inflation and rising oil prices and other
forms of corruption have been problems that occur among the leaders in the Philippines. Starting with
the historical method in philosophy is the study of the history of philosophy as a means of thinking
about philosophical issues for the sake of the practice of original philosophical work means refers to the
collection of techniques and guidelines that historians use to research and write histories of the past.
The issue is about corruption because corruption existed back in the old days to the present day’s
officials corrupt to get themselves beneficial, they do types of corruption like bribery, embezzlement,
graft, backdoor deals, and other forms of corruption even if there was a good president or a leader it
would be hard for him to make good changes to the country because the rest of the officials would not
support something if it does not have to benefit them. Corruption in the government is one of the main
reasons for many other problems in the Philippines not only are the officials corrupted even high-
ranking officers or officers, teachers, and more are also corrupted they take money from the people in
exchange they will not get arrested or get caught in trouble that’s the reason why the Philippines having
trouble to start over or to raise because of corruption
