Materials/Resources: Whiteboard, books, notebooks and overhead projector.
Warm-up: Teacher will show an addition and subtraction operation and ask ss to solve them on the board.
Presentation: Teacher will remind ss how to find the unknown value using figures only and also with numbers.
Practice: Teacher will put some examples for ss practice with a partner each.
Production: Ss will answer Pathway to Math book page 36-37. They will be guided.
Wrap-up: Ss will answer an exercise in their notebooks.

Tuesday 15th What Did You Learn? Page 38-39 Notebook
Materials/Resources: Whiteboard, books, notebooks and overhead projector.
Warm-up: Teacher will have ss review how to represent numbers in different ways.
Presentation: Teacher will remind ss to find the pattern first and then use it to continue the sequences.
Practice: Ss will answer some examples with figures on the board.
Production: Ss will answer Pathway to Math book page 38-39. They will be guided.
Wrap-up: Ss will answer an exercise in their notebooks.

Wednesday 16th Summary Page 40 Notebook
Materials/Resources: Whiteboard, books, notebooks and overhead projector.
Warm-up: Teacher will have students review the past topics in a summary form.
Presentation: Teacher will elicit the main concepts that they have learned during the lessons.
Practice: Two volunteers will act out the dialogue between Spot and Kiki related to numbers and patterns.
Production: Ss will read Pathway to Math book page 40.

Friday 18th What Do You Know? Page 41 Notebook
Materials/Resources: Whiteboard, books, notebooks and overhead projector.
Warm-up: Teacher will ask ss to look at the picture and tell what is about.
Presentation: Teacher will explain the new concepts of the topic.
Practice: Teacher will ask ss how many adults and children there are in their families. Then ss will calculate how much they would
pay if they went with their family to the farm.
Production: Ss will answer Pathway to Math book page 41. They will be guided.
Wrap-up: Ss will answer an exercise in their notebooks.
