What are the main consequences of the Industrial

Revolution?

The industrial revolution was a moment of change and discoveries that

happened almost two centuries ago. It was characterized by the increase in labor
productivity as things were now faster and cheaper to make, and we had material
prosperity. But not everything was perfect these movements also came with a variety
of new problems and difficulties that the world can not seem to change even in the
present day.

They were lots of different changes that happen thanks to the industrial
revolution, but this is something that we can narrow down to three major categories.
The first category is the climate or ecological impacts. In these, we can observe the
issues of exploitation of natural resources like coal. Coal and other minerals would
be now extracted in massive quantities for different uses in factories creating
disbalances in the ecosystems. A connected consequence is the increase of carbon
emissions due to the fuels now use in every fabric and the increase of normally used
products that require the energy of carbon to function.

The second category in which we can separate our changes is technology.

Technological development was a huge thing presented in the 19th and 20th
centuries as competition between scientists and companies was huge. They would
battle to see who put in the market the best product or the most interesting new
feature but more to see who would make the bigger discovery first. These
competitions didn't joust stayed in individuals but escalated to whole states too. But
these competitions were not too bad as they gave us improvements in major fields
such as transportation, chemistry, and electricity. But not everything was too good as
they also made gigantic improvements in weapons.
In the social part, these movements make the burgesses more power and
money that times made the working class bigger, and develop unto massive
urbanization. It also created more pressure on the governments to support either
creating pads for it to grow or to directly take control over it. As a final change, it also
made inequality bigger but changeable.

In conclusion, The industrial revolution made lots of changes to the world

some perfect and others no so much, but it did set the pad for the way we leave now
and the way the world moves. And now it is our turn to find a solution to all these
unresolved problems.
