Subject /AL Gwer ESMP Environmental and Social Management Plan Documents

Dear Resident Engineer

The contractor is responsible to provide the following documents to Dorsch for review
and approval before the work commence the contractor should submit the required
documents on 17.11.2020 :

1 The project environmental and Social Manamgnent plan (ESMP).this document should
comply with the Project Specification (section Vlll Genral Condition,Section Vll Work
Requirements.,Section IX Particular Conditions PC. All these requirements is stated in
the Project Contract documents

2- Health and Safety Plan.(Should comply witht the GCFI regulations, and KFW
guidelines and the RBD (The road and Bridges Directorate).

3-Traffic Management Plan (to ensure safety of local communities from construction
traffic).

4- Water Resource Protection Plan (to prevent contamination of the river and drinking
water).
5-Boundary marking and Protection Strategy (for mobilization and construction to
prevent offsite adverse impacts).
6-Biodiversity Action and pollution prevention Plan.
7-Work site Management Plan.
8-Site Security and Emergency Response Plan.
9-Accommodation Plan (the Contractor should provide new fabricated site offices and
accommodation plan at the site for the consultant (Dorsch resident Engineer,
Supervision team, client Dorsch offices should include rest area room for emergency or
lockdown emergency cases office enough toilets and separate for the resident Engineer
and Labors camp.
10-Waste Management Plan.
11-Hazardous Materials Management Plan.
12-Resources allocated to ESHS management. (ESHS Personnel should be approved by
Dorsch EHS Engineer and the RBD EHS manager.
13- The contractor should conduct the site environmental screening and Environmental
Risk Assessment and worksite Risk assessment and to be submitted to Dorsch EHS for
review and approval before the work commence.
14- The contractor should provide site security plan (watchman security personnel,
cameras, fences, gates and approved security plan by Dorsch EHS engineer.
15- Firs Aid room and certified first Aider should be available at the site all time in
addition to the firs aid kits at the offices and the site.
16- Fire plan and Fire prevention Plan at the offices and the site.
17- Site Layout drawing for the offices and the work area, showing the site entrances
and exits, logistic plan, vehicles movements.
18- Organization Chart of the contractor staff and defined roles and responsibilities.
19- Training plan for the project staff and the manpower.
20- Risk Assessment plan for all site activities.

For Further clarification the contractor may consult Dorsch EHS engineer for guidance
and support.
