Our youth deserve to be in outdoors, to learn, to experience, to get challenged


and to have loads of fun.

This is what we have conceived at Youth Impact while designing Junior Survivor.

Youth Impact specializes in wilderness based youth leadership development. In last 10 years,
we have successfully trained and developed more than 26,000 young social leaders from all
provinces of Pakistan, from all kinds of socio-economic backgrounds.

Junior Survivor offers young people a chance to connect with nature and indulge in adventure
activities in a safe and meaningful atmosphere. Junior Survivor will take place at Mubarak
beach karachi, where youngsters from ages 13 to 17 years will camp for one night and indulge
in activities such as trekking, camping, cooking, water based activities, experiential games,
leadership activities etc. Our focus is to provide a safe yet challenging environment where the
youngsters can exert their physical, emotional and social energies while also interacting with
like-minded peers and work on their self-development.
WHAT TO EXPECT AT JUNIOR SURVIVOR:

Action packed 2 day 1 night that includes:


• Camping on Beach
• Cooking Activity with team chef competition
• Olympiad and water challenges
• Trekking to the campsite
• Leadership and Life learning (Reviews and reflections with professional
leadership trainers)
• Basic Survival Skills

LEARNING OUTCOMES
● Learning to lead in challenging circumstances.
● Developing emotional strength in nerve testing conditions.
● Learning the art of teamwork and collaboration.
● Connecting with nature.
● Developing empathy, compassion and active listening.

PROGRAM DYNAMICS
● Date: February 11-12, 2023 (Saturday, Sunday)
● Duration: 2 days and 1 night
● Group Size: maximum 20 participants
● Age group: 13 – 17 years
● Gender: Both boys and girls
● Venue: Mubarak Beach Karachi
(Parents/Teachers are welcome to join too as paid guests)

All Outdoor programs and Camps at Youth Impact have maintained the
status of ALCOHOL FREE, SMOKING FREE, VIOLENCE FREE, ABUSE
FREE, HARASSMENT FREE and DRUGS FREE status
PROGRAM FINANCIALS
Cost Per Participant:Rs. 14,900
Group and siblings discount available at 10% per nomination
Parents/Teachers discount is 20% on total cost

The Cost includes:


● Training Facilitation by two Lead Trainers and a team of support facilitators.
● All meals and snacks (welcome snacks,dinner, breakfast and Lunch, Water and
Juices)
● Transportation from Karachi to Mubarak Beach and back
● Cost of water activities and experiential games.
● Costs of all camping gear
● First aid support
● Videography and Photography
● Security agency
● Certificate of Participation.

The Cost DOES NOT include:


● Any cost due to natural calamity, emergency situation, political situation or any
other external/uncontrollable factor
● Personal medication (if any)
● Lost baggage and valuables
OTHER INSTRUCTIONS
● Each participant/parent has to fill and submit an Agreement as well as a Health
Form
● Participants packing list and preparation guide will be provided by Youth Impact
● Mobile signals do not work in some of the training area, therefore parents are
required to be patient during the day. Our Team Liaison will keep the parents
group updated.
● Participant’s pictures will be shared on social media with consent only.
● Participants are not allowed to carry valuables i.e. mobile phones, jewelry, cash,
any other digital gadgets. In case of loss, Youth Impact will not take the
responsibility.
● Participants Joining Instructions will be sent to finalized participants only.
● All participants are expected to abide by the local and federal laws as well the
social norms during the program. Youth Impact holds the rights to drop any
participant at any stage due to misconduct or non-compliance behavior.
● Parents/Teachers, if joining the camp, are required to play passive role and DO
NOT intervene directly in the learning process or experiences of their younger
ones.
