A pleasant afternoon to all of you, Ma’am Lu.

I’m Jean Melie Roa from 12 – Matatag presenting my

research paper entitled, " A Study on the Relationship between Learning Styles and Online Distance
Learning Modality of Senior Highschool Students". I would like to clarify that I only use content analysis
based on existing study’s statistical analysis about calculating correlational method to identify if there is
really a relationship between learning styles and Online Distance Learning modality of Senior Highschool
Students.

We all know that it is really hard to cope up in this online platform but in the past few years, some of us
are now adapting this method by changing learning styles and teaching technique in online distance
learning. So, I created this research to contribute to the existing knowledge of the students about
learning styles and Online Distance Learning Modality, these study aims specifically if learning style and
online distance learning are most likely to have a relationship in academic performance of the senior
highschool students.

As you can see, the statement of the problem is *read SOP*

So, in the result. I found related study telling that there is really a positive correlation between the
learning style, like the study of Çakıroğlu entitled "Analyzing the Effect of Learning Styles and Study
Habits of Distance Learners on Learning Performances: A Case of an Introductory Programming Course"
which indicated substantial correlations between students' learning styles, study habits, and online
learning success, the statistical analysis found out that synchronous circumstances, the "diverges and
accommodators" techniques were linked to higher learning scores, the study of Calvanaugh, et al. (2004)
entitled “The Effects of Distance Education on K–12 Student Outcomes: A Meta-Analysis” also have the
same findings.

So, I’ll just put the summary of the results based on the graphs and table presented by the researchers
in related studies:

There is a relationship between the types of learners and the online distance learning strategy used by
students. According to Lopez & Boenheim (2012) statistical analysis in "Multiple Intelligences in Online,
Hybrid, and Traditional Business Statistics Courses", most people can develop each intellect to a suitable
level of proficiency with the right encouragement, enrichment, and education because all of our
students possess interpersonal intelligence, which allows them to engage in collaborative learning using
technology.

2. Students' education may be just as successful online as it is in a classroom if they have access to
a classroom with the suitable Online Distance Learning course. According to Calvanaugh, et al. (2004), as
the power of communication and educational technology grows, distance educators and designers will
be pushed to create experiences for students that use that ability to give an experience for students that
exceeds classroom instruction's time and location constraints.
3. Spatial and linguistic intelligence that students generally rely on as teachers when emphasizing
lectures, remembering names, words, concepts, and using PowerPoint presentations and diagrams are
difficult to learn. These results, obtained from a study by Lopez & Boenheim (2012) where they rank and
conducted a survey questionnaire testing the learning styles of the students such as

Logical-mathematical intelligence. ...

Linguistic intelligence. ...

Spatial Intelligence. ...

Musical Intelligence. ...

Bodily-kinesthetic Intelligence. ...

Intrapersonal Intelligence. ...

Interpersonal Intelligence. ...

Naturalistic intelligence

It explains that students find it quite difficult to learn language and spatial studies.

This findings based on the performances of the student.

That’s all, Thank you!
