There were many similarities between the responses of the grandparents that included

mixed fields of education, including both male and female. They study in school until
12th grade and study the same subjects including Maths, English, Marathi, Hindi,
Maths, etc. Also, they will enjoy their time at school because it's fun and they enjoy
every little moment they have with their friends and at the same time say they spent
their time at school and that's what they always look forward to. In the 80s, competition
among students still existed and there was a lot of pressure from the school to achieve
good results, as well as get the best marks in exams. Classes are divided into
kindergarten and elementary from grades 1 to 7. The 8th to 12th standard is high
school. However, it is up to the teacher and what they want for the student, but also
depending on the school, the student is given little or no homework. Although teachers
are strict about discipline, there is a differences in many different schools. The teachers
also take care of the students and help them when needed. In conclusion, there has
been a huge leap from the grandparents to the parent's generation as it was developing
at a fast pace.

Parents, in the late 90s, noticed a slight change in the education system. The parents in
their day also have coeducational schools that were all-inclusive, and the seating
arrangements were not segregated or divided to accommodate them 1st to 4th grades
were under the primary section. The 5th to 10th grades came under the secondary
section. 11th and 12th grades came under the junior college section. One graduated
after completing their senior college. They offer all the subjects available in our times
and similar subjects are also required, however, they were allowed to choose between
Hindi, French, and Sanskrit at the secondary level. Moreover, the student's schedule
would vary according to the convenience of the school and parents. In addition,
completing assignments and curriculum is a tedious task for some schools, while some
schools have the freedom to practice their research and development skills and present
them in the form of exercises. Extracurricular activities would sometimes be part of the
school, but sometimes schools want to be more strict and restrict these activities as
these can also be done after school hours. In conclusion, there hasn't been much in the
educational system since our parent's time and it looks like schools have become much
more advanced in time and developed their teaching and communication methods.

The grandparent's generation experienced a lot of pressure during their school years.
Moreover, the teachers in their times would expect perfect discipline and everyone to be
respectful towards their teachers. Similar to the parents, the grandparents also had
compulsory subjects like maths, science, and English. Moreover, like every other
student, they also enjoyed going to school as it was fun to meet up with friends and
interact with them. Extracurricular activities played a huge role in both generations and
still, continue to play. However, there were a lot of differences between the answers, in
the parents’ time there was little or no pressure from their parents as compared to the
grandparents, they were a lot of competition in their time and marks mattered a lot.
Moreover, school timings differed. In addition, there was a lot of homework that was
given to the grandparents, they would be given homework quite often as a way of
making them study, on the other side, the parents would get a lot of research work to be
done and that was a part of their homework. In conclusion, the generation gap was
quite huge compared to the current generation and it reflects how education was a huge
part of people's lives even in those times.

There have been huge developments in comparison to the subquestions. In todays

generation, we dont have a lot of homework and writing in comparison to those times.
Moreover, there's more research that takes place in todays time and we get to do
detailed research on our topics/subjects. Moreover, as technology advances and seeps
into todays generation, the educational system is mostly through online mediums where
most students attend online lectures and are able to get degrees through online
mediums. In addition, the timings are also changed so that students can study at their
own pace and can have educational video access from anywhere and anytime. This
means that students can access information easily without any hassle which is very
convenient for them. Moreover, it is also possible to take notes on the computer and
record them on the internet. These days, there are many online portals where students
can get help with their assignments. However, in most schools, traditional methods
have been followed as people are used to using a book and a pen to jot their notes and
points. In conclusion, nowadays, students are more interested in learning through online
sources rather than face-to-face to make sure that they do not forget anything.
