Introduction

This school resource centre plan is to achieve the collaboration between school and government to
make the best use of the collection that will be provided for the sake of building a knowledgeable
community. In the midst of rapid technological advancement, it would be sad if the community were
to be very passive and introvert. Hence, we strive to make this phenomenon as a base operation for
us to tread this School resource centre here.

Library location

The main reason for us to propose this library is to support the learning process between student
and teachers. We also plan to make the school to be a place where library is one of the place to
spend leisure time and giving our best service to those who need us regardless of their status or age.
furthermore, we want to enhance the learning process in the school by providing additional learning
material available in the library for the student and teacher to gain access from them.

To support the learning and teaching process of student and teacher to increase the adequate
knowledge level of the student for researching purpose and studying purpose.
Goals (5 years planning)
Achieving service rating of 80% and above in 2020. Building a school community where students
often spend time in the school resource centre for studying and having leisure time.
2019 – achieving the best department unit in the school
2020 – reaching 70% rate of student entering the library for the purpose of study and filling leisure
time
2021 – achieving full commitment of 5s from all school resource centre staff
2022 – Inculcating health norm/culture. Positive behaviour and moral values among students
2023 – increasing involvement and enhancing collaboration between school and community in
preventing drug abuse
