1) The Objective:
Assyad Drydock’s Acetylene Plant is generating Acetylene Gas at a rate
70.0M3/hour. As the gas is spontaneously explosive the following detection
system are installed in the plant.
1. Heat detector(1No)
2. Gas detector(2No’s)
3. Flame Detector (1No)
4. Deluge Valve system (General)
2) Scope of Work
1. Dry-dock request calibration and certification of the above equipment’.
2. If the any of the above equipment found nonfunctional during inspection,
rectify the equipment or recommend for correction to the end user and
certify after getting confirmation of correction from the Dry-dock.
3. Issue certificate of Inspection

Successful bidder shall inspect the above equipment and if not functioning

Photos of the Fire Extinguishers are attached

5) The Contractors Scope Of Works:

Visit the site and inspect it by taking to their facility or in ODC yard and
inspect and certify. Label shall be pasted on the cylinders with inspection date
and valid up to period. .

6) Requirement’s/ Recommendation:
nil

7) The Reason of Requesting the Outsources: It is mandatory to inspect fire

extinguisher system annually to check its performance and issue certificate by
a 3rd party.
