1. Teacher and pupils go through the book cover and the blurb.
2. In groups, pupils read pages 6 to 13.
3. Each group has to choose one panel that they think is impossible to happen in the real world
and why (Ex: Panel 3 page 10-we don’t have a tiny person in the real world).
4. Pupils discuss and share their thoughts.
5. Pupils repeat the steps and figure out why Gulliver has a comb, silver coin, and a watch in his
pocket

Pupils choose a single thing they want to put in their pocket when they travel to a foreign land.
