Overall, it is evident from the data that viewing figures are highest in India, but
the opposite trend which can be seen in Japan. The action saw by far the highest
levels of popularity in the four categories studied
The study revealed that cinema movies in Ireland had a nearly equivalent
amount of viewers to those in India, with 23.3 million compared to 24.5 million.
The proportion of watchers was lower in New Zealand and Japan, with viewing
rates of around 20,3 and 17,8 million, respectively.
The action is by far being watched the most in four distinct movie genres in
each region, receiving a viewing ratio between 7 and 8 million per country.
Except in Ireland, where horror films are the second most popular type of
movie, other countries are around 2 to nearly 5 million. Finally, romance and
comedy films are the same amount of audience, with 20 million across all four
countries in total, while being much more common in India than the others
