1. What do you think is the meaning of Science and Technology?

- With the basic knowledge I have and in my own words, Science is the study of
the nature and behavior of natural things while Technology is the process of
putting enhancement and advancement in things we are daily using, like
machineries that are product of technology. Using science helps us to
understand phenomenon and if lined with technology, we are able to easily know
the conclusion and the reason behind it. By having both Science and
Technology, it will easily provide us the advancement of living and process of
things in the society we are in. By also being aware of its nature and respective
purposes, we will help ourselves find the solutions in daily concerning matters.
Especially this hard time of pandemic, Science and Technology is considerably
the only answer for us to conquer and solve the mystery of this event.

2. What do you expect in this subject in the entire semester?

- As a citizen and human being of this world having and experiencing this crisis
and pandemic at my very young age, I am eager and willful to engage myself in
science and its nature to know and help the future eras to solve crises like this. I
expect that this class will enhance not just my prior knowledge but also my
scientific reasoning skills in things that will really affect not just my life but also
the life of others. I do hope this subject will remain interesting as the course goes
through its plan and it will be filled with much engagement and life realization. We
may be lacked off usage of science and technology in our country, and I hope
this subject will solve the missing piece I am feeling during the time of response
of the government to the crisis for the benefit of the future. Additionally, I like
creating theories, and I hope I find things that will help me produce my theories
and sort of proving it with science.
