Nowadays, people have little environmental awareness.

Both authors highlight the necessity of protecting

nature but for slightly different benefits it gives us. The first text concentrates on organizing campaigns
that aim at protecting the ecological balance, whereas the second extract focuses on nature as the source
of inspirations for humans.

The first text underlines that there is the state of equilibrium between living organisms like human beings,
plants and animals and also their environment. This balance can be easily destroyed by human’s activities
such as hunting. Fortunately, there are individuals and environmental organizations working to protect
nature. The second text concentrates on preserving the environment because we can get inspirations and
learn some invaluable lessons from the natural world. Art wouldn’t be the same without nature.

In my view, in the first text, the author contradicts himself/herself by suggesting to leave nature alone,
and then he or she outlines the importance of human’s involvement in activities that aim at saving the
environment. Human beings are at the top of the food chain and play vital role in all interactions in the
environment so we cannot be isolated from nature. More convincing is the second text because it
provides with clear reasons why we should take care and protect nature: it inspires the wide range of
artists and specialists and truly observing it can be very beneficial to us.

In conclusion, undoubtedly nature plays key role in our life, inspires and teaches us, is vital to our well-
being. People should be more involved in all activities that helps to save our planet and its shrinking
resources because we are totally dependent on nature and by protecting it we are saving ourselves.
