ADJECTIVE VS ADVERB

adjective -
the word that describes a noun.
adjective modifies nouns and pronouns
ex - jane is beautiful (beautiful describes jane so it is an adjective)

adverb -
the word that describes a verb or an adjective.
adverbs modify verbs,adjectives and other adverbs. they frequently end in -ly.
ex - jane runs beautifully (beautifully describes how jane runs).

adverbs describing adjectives -


she is amazingly quick. (amazingly describes how quick she is)
she is breathtakingly pretty. (breathtakingly describes how pretty she is)

pronoun - replaces a noun.


ex - she,you,one,we,him,their,this,that,these,those,which,both,etc.

preposition -
they indicate where someone/something is or when something happened.
