VERB TENSE

present tense -
when the verb shows that the work is being currently done then it is said to be in
present tense.
ex - i am watching TV (watching is the verb which is currently taking place)

Past tense -
when the shows that the work has already been done in the past then it is said to
be in past tense.
ex - i watched TV yesterday. (watched is the verb which has already taken place).

present perfect tense -


it refers to an action that has happened in the past and is still happening or
perhaps may continue in the future
has/have

past perfect tense -


it refers to an action which took place in the past prior to another event in the
past.
had
