CONCERT UNIFORMS

The school will assign the following uniforms to students during concert
season. They remain the property of the school district.

Girls: Concert top and pants

or option to purchase a specific style of dress at your own expense – info on
page 4.

Boys: Tuxedo jacket, pants, cummerbund & bowtie

There are items to complete uniforms, that you will need to buy. They are listed
below:

Girls:

You will need to purchase the following – black shoes suitable for concert,
long black shoe socks (feet should not be visible), suitable black undergarments
that are not visible around neckline or back.

Boys:

White tuxedo shirt (sports shirt and other white shirts are not acceptable).
Hobby Lobby sell them. Print off 40% off coupon when available. Or
Al’s Formal Wear at Willowbrook will give a 20% discount to Cy Woods
School.
Make sure you mention that when purchasing.

Black shoes. They can use marching shoes or other black dress shoes.

Long black socks – plain. Patterns not allowed.

Shoe rules for both. They should be completely black.

They may also choose to wear their marching shoes, although they don’t look
so nice with the girls uniform!

Appropriate dress socks/hosiery example:

Plus black undergarments to go under the concert top. Racer front bras are not
suitable, they show the straps.

 OPTIONAL WOMENS CONCERT DRESS

Cy Woods Wildcat Band have concert uniforms for all students. For the girls they will be
assigned a pair of gaucho style pants and a velour top.

We are giving the girls an additional option to purchase an approved style concert dress,
should they prefer not to wear the pants and top. The dress style has been approved by the
band directors.

Students do not have to purchase the dress. It is completely optional.

Should you wish to purchase your own dress, you must buy the Cadenza style dress in
black from Formalwear-Outlet by Southeastern.

***YOU MUST SELECT THE BLACK DRESS OPTION***

As of May 2019, the dress costs $59.00. There is no tax. Shipping is approximately $15.
If you choose to purchase this dress, it is your responsibility to have any alterations made
to it & clean it.

You do not need to keep the uniform on the uniform racks, however, you may do so if you
wish. If you choose to keep at the school, please ask the uniform moms for a hanger and
they will make sure it is clearly labeled with your name. Please make sure that your dress
has your name labeled inside should you wish to keep it at school.
