RSU dominates SLSU in STRASUC’s elimination round

Romblon State University (RSU) overcame a vigorous game against the Southern
Luzon State University (SLSU), 6-0, during the Southern Tagalog Regional Association
of State Universities and Colleges (STRASUC) at the football field of Cavite State
University earlier this morning, on December 6.

The second day of the football competition commenced intensely, with RSU sweeping
the initial round.

On the onset of the match, RSU dominates the playing field with ease and conveniently
scores the first goal.

SLSU tried to roll their defenses as best as they could on the following rounds but failed
to do so, leaving them at a huge disadvantage.

The open field was filled with loud cheers both from the winning team and their
audience as soon as they scored their last crucial goal.

According to Lats Alayon, one of the players from RSU, all team members contributed
to achieving the winning score that was made possible through their hard work and
teamwork.

In line with the preparation for the next round, he shared their plans for the next match.

“Patuloy po kaming magtetrain at magkakaroon ng kumpiyansa sa sarili para sa mga


susunod na laban,” he said.

[We will continue to train harder and strive for self-confidence for the succeeding
matches.]

RSU is set to move forward in the competition and go up against another winning
university in the next elimination rounds.
In the aftermath of the match, SLSU promised an acquired learning experience on the
game and vowed to work and train harder to triumph in their upcoming future
competitions.
