Purpose of the Study and Research Design

The main purpose of this study was to determine the Level of Satisfaction on

New Normal Face-to-Face classes of Junior High School Learners of Dapdap National

High School for school year 2022-2023. Likewise, it aimed to ascertain how sex and

grade level influence the level of satisfaction of learners on new normal face-to-face

classes.

This descriptive-survey employed researcher made instrument to gather data

on Level of Satisfaction on New Normal Face-to-Face classes of Junior High School

Learners of Dapdap National High School for school year 2022-2023.

The independent variables in this study were grade level and sex. The

dependent variable was the Level of Satisfaction on New Normal Face-to-Face

classes of Junior High School Learners of Dapdap National High School.

Method

The Participants,

The participants of the study were the Junior High School Learners of Dapdap

National High School. The Slovin’s Formula was used to get the number of

participants. To select the participants of the study, cluster sampling technique was

utilized. The list of Junior High School Learners in each group was obtained from the

adviser of every grade level. Using the lottery technique, the name of the Junior High

School Learners was drawn as the sample cluster. Slips of paper containing names of

the Junior High School Learners were placed inside the box, and so 115 slips of

paper were randomly drawn until the desired sample size was reached. The learners
whose name appeared on the slips were included in the final administration of the

research instrument.

The participants were classified according to their grade level and sex. The

levels of variables were classified as follows:

As to grade level, the participants were grouped according to their grade; 7,

8, 9, 10. For sex, the participants were grouped as male and female.
