Follow these rules when writing your poem.

Cinquain 5 Senses
Line 1: 2 syllables Each line of the poem
line 2: 4 syllables describes the topic using
line 3: 6 syllables the 5 senses.
line 4: 8 syllables I see...
line 5: 2 syllables (Synonyms I hear...
of line 1) I taste...
I smell...
Acrostic I feel...

The first letter of the poem Roses are Red


spells out a word. Each line is
about the word. Follows the ABCB Pattern.
-Funny The first and third lines
Amazing don't rhyme, but the
Terrific second and fourth lines do.
Helper Roses are Red,
Extra special Violets are Blue,
Really great You're so sweet,
and nice too

Line 2: 7 Syllables

Letters
Follow these rules when writing your letter

Your letter needs to be addressed to someone.


Your letter needs to be signed at the end.
Your letter needs to be talking to the person it is
addressed to.
Your letter needs to have a topic.

EXAMPLE:
Dear Sally,
Happy Valentines Day! Thank you
for helping me with this new
adventure. Your support makes my
day easier. I am excited for you to
come observe in my room! Seeing
you on Tuesdays makes my week
better!
Happy Valentines Day!
