SUBJECT : PRICE OFFER FOR SUPPLY OF JACKING PIPES AND ADDITIONAL

REQUIREMENT

Dear Madam,

We thank you very much for your interest in AUCC Precast Factory and we are pleased to submit our price
offer for Supply of RC Jacking Pipes and additional requirement.

1. Basis of this price offer

 Our proposal is based on your email dated 31th January 2020 with attached Bill of Quantities
 Prices are based on current market prices for raw materials. Any increase in raw material price shall
have an effect on the prices quoted

2. Scope of Works
Our scope of works covers the followings:
 Preparation of suitable moulds as per the requirement
 Cutting, bending and placing the steel reinforcement in moulds as per the details in the final
production drawings
 Casting and curing the pipes in our precast yard under AUCC quality control procedure.
 Delivery of precast concrete units to the project site using AUCC trailer facilities but excluding the
offloading works

3. Main Contractor Scope of Works

Main Contractor is to provide the following facilities free of cost to subcontractor,
 Off-loading facilities at project site for pipes
 Lay down area at project site for the off-loading the pipes
 Wooden pallets to be returned back with the trailers transporting the pipes
 Access to offloading areas and gate passes for AUCC trailers

4. Specifications
Production of pipes will be carried out in accordance with our Precast Quality Control Management
Procedure and confirming to QCS 2014 requirements.

5. Validity
This Price offer is valid for 30 days

6. Exclusions
 Any type of coated or special treated reinforcement steel
 Any special embedment other than mentioned in BoQ
 External laboratory testing and Third Party Inspection
 Any work which is not mentioned in our offer.
 For Storage of Pipes at AUCC Factory beyond 7 days, storage cost shall be payable by Main
Contractor.

7. Schedule of Delivery
Production shall be commenced within 1 week upon receipt of advance payment.
Schedule of delivery shall be mutually agreed as per production capacity and client requirement.

Note – Total Price: AUCC Offer is based on assumption that whole quantity will be awarded as single
contract and if there is any deduction in B.O.Q quantity, AUCC reserves its right to revise the rates
Material price Escalation: AUCC Estimation is based on the material price in the market as on
October 2020, and if the raw material prices increase beyond 5% at the time of award of the sub-
contract or during execution of the project, AUCC reserves its right to charge extra for the material
price Increase plus 10% overhead costs extra.

9. Payment Terms
This offer assumes the following payment terms.

9.1 Advance Payment

Interest free deductible advance payment of 10% of the Contract Price shall be disbursed within
7 days upon signing of the Contract. The date of Commencement of the Works shall not come into
effect until the advance payment has been received by us.

9.2 Interim Payment Certificate

We shall be permitted to submit IPA on monthly basis on agreed date based on progress of the Works.
Certification of payments due shall be made to us within 7 working days of the date of submission of
the payment application.

9.3 Interim Payments

By Unconditional Letter of Credit, within 45 days of receipt by the contractor of the subcontractor’s
certified monthly statement
