Critical Evaluation:

Value Proposition:
In Jovi, we can direct the rider from our app to wherever we wish on the map and assign multiple tasks. The rider will interact with different vendors
and deliver anything within the Rs. 10000 budget range. This can be a huge advantage over foodpanda but delivery times will be slow.
Foodpanda only allow the users to order meal from nearby restaurants / stores which leaves some customers dissapointed. The rider will not perform
additional tasks, but their delivery time is fast.

Customer Segment:
Jovi allows user to order eatables and home delivery of products from anywhere within the city. This is a huge advantage for those who do not have
favorite restaurants available nearby or those that live in the outskirts of city where there are no foodpanda options.
Restaurants / stores use Foodpanda as another channel to attract customers while Jovi is being utilized by businesses that have don’t have their own
home delivery services.

Channels
Foodpanda uses web and mobile application to take orders from customers and Jovi uses only mobile app. Jovi’s mobile application has 2.4 rating on
Google playstore due to their sluggish and poor interface while Foodpanda has a 4.0 rating, and its mobile app and website are well built.
Both use social media and advertising to reach potential customers. Foodpanda has made its reputation as a third party app to deliver food to doorstep
while Jovi started a launch campaign which did not go well due to poor marketing tactics.

Revenue Streams
Foodpanda charges a transaction fee from the listed companies for all purchases made. It also takes advertising fees from businesses to advertise their
offerings on its mobile app and website.
Jovi only charges delivery fees paid by the customers upon completion of order. I am not sure if it also charges a mark-over percentage over the
products purchased from store.
Jovi shall look for other revenue streams as well because customers can often become frustrated if their order is delivered late. The customer may
refuse to pay the amount which leaves Jovi at risk. The rider also needs to keep Rs. 10000 cash in hand.

Customer Relations
Foodpanda has moderate discounts, referrals and special deals which attracts new customers. Jovi has some discounts on deals but have not attracted
customers at a significant rate.
Both companies have excellent customer support and allow tracking of rider. Jovi has started its operation in Islamabad / Rawalpindi. I am not sure if
people in small cities will use Jovi to run personal errands because of limited income and availability of local vendor and stalls within walking distance.
Foodpanda is still popular due to the discounts and deals available from time to time.
