B.1 Background and Rationale

The QR-Code system is an offline system for COMPANIES, ORGANIZATIONS OR PUBLIC

SCHOOLS and UNIVERSITIES which will provide a simple and easy user interface to use,
which can be managed by any user without having prior in-depth knowledge of the computer
system.

The system will allow to manage school assets inventories I-e all Consumable and non-
consumable information also perform procurement activities, in a very simple way, using a qr-
code and qr-code scanner application.
The project SLIM is design to monitor the inventory of science laboratory tools, materials, and
equipment using QR-Codes and QR-Code Scanner mobile application.
B.2 Study Design

In the past years, Marawi National High School has difficulty in monitoring the science
laboratory tools, materials, and equipment due to lack of monitoring software application,
that’s why the number of tools, materials, and equipment in the science laboratory are
constantly decreasing (SHS).

By using this application, you can easily track the tools, materials, and equipment easily by
scanning the qr-code.

In general, all incoming Grade 11 and Grade 12 Senior High School of Marawi National
High School shall all be the beneficiaries. When it comes to teaching-learning process, all the
Marawi National High School students shall benefit with this proposal.

system once the project is completed.
