Memorandum Number 223, s. 2021. The said activity is in partnership with the Department
of Agriculture Regional Field Office 3 (DARFO3) which aims to train and capacitate teachers
who manage the establishments of the school garden.
In the past three years, MNHS was not able to come up with a standard GPP.
Although, the designated lot for this program had its own vegetation, its physical aspect
does not conform to the standards of the program. Being said this, Project COC (Cream of
the Crop) was realized which primarily targets to revitalize ‘gulayan’ in MNHS without
asking for allotment from the Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses (MOOE) of the
school. Rather, it seeks the help of the past achievers of the school in a form of donating
indigenous materials and other recyclable materials needed which will contribute to the
success of the project.
Project COC stands for “Cream of the Crop” which primarily targets to revitalize the
Gulayan sa Paaralan Program in Marawi National High School. The prospect donors to
accomplish this project shall be the senior high school graduates for the past four years.
Specifically, the honor students and achievers in other fields other than academics, hence,
Cream of the Crop or COC was coined. The GPP chair, vice-char, and members and all the
other volunteers are expected to participate in a whole-year round duration with an
estimated Php 7,425.00 project cost.
