 About Kharma Family
"We're here because all kids deserve to smile".
The Kharma Family was established to help
children in poverty in Thailand. They are a group
of volunteers who work in some of the
kingdom's less developed regions to help local
children get a better start in life. They not only
donate supplies and give financial support, but
also undertake long-term projects to improve
the local infrastructure, living areas and school
buildings, and motivate young people and their
parents to see the advantages of education and
training.

The Kharma Family relies on the generosity of

donors and their volunteers to do its work, and
their recent projects they have donated beds,
mattresses, and blankets, but also clothing too.
They also donate teaching and school
equipment, and build play areas for younger
children.
 Philanthropic Corporate Responsibility
The ambitions, purposes, and objectives of a corporation for
actively bettering society as a whole are referred to as
philanthropic responsibility. Donating money from company
revenues to beneficial projects in the local community,
generally through a trust or foundation, is a significant element
of corporate philanthropy.

The Kharma Family operates differently than many other

nonprofit organizations.  They choose a yearly cause and hold a
three-month fundraising campaign to raise the funds and
materials needed to accomplish their project. This implies that
every baht(thai currency) is directed toward children and
communities in need. Their campaign runs from October
through December. They don't fundraise all year, so they're not
under pressure to keep money in their bank accounts or balance

and shuffle finances between initiatives. Because the Kharma
Family operates in this manner, its supporters can be confident
that the money and supplies they provide will be sent directly
and immediately to the children in need, and that no satang will
be wasted on administrative or operational expenditures.
Benefits of the Project
They help with the construction of restrooms,
dorms, classrooms, kitchens, and other
educational facilities. They create what is most
desperately needed first.

They give children books, stationery materials,
undergarments, towels, pillows, toothbrushes,
soaps, and other school and life requirements.

They supply study materials, athletic equipment,

general reading books, and other items to schools in
order to assist students learn more efficiently in
school.

They plan activities with kids, parents, and
volunteers to have a good influence on children and
to show parents the importance of education.
Appreciation to the Project
This Seven Peaks project is wonderful. Giving all children the
opportunity to study and to have a better life. The Kharma
Family is a predetermined group of employees, not a random
assortment of people. One thing I appreciated about this CSR
Initiative is that the Kharma Family members are all good
volunteers from all around the world. Every year, the team will
be made up of people from various firms or colleges.

All volunteers have one purpose in mind: to successfully complete the project.
Of course, they enjoy having fun with the kids and getting the great feeling of
doing something unselfish and good to others. Through this project, there will be
no barrier to the kids and the people they help based on gender, religion,
ethnicity and sexuality. The people they want to help are individual human
beings just like us and will be treated with respect and dignity.
