Each team is responsible for providing a Team Banner. The guidelines for the preparation
and displaying of the banner are as follows:

during the year level elimination, all MAPEH teachers will conduct a poster making contest
during their time. Collect the output and present to your year level screening committees to
idenfity the winner. The winner will compete during the intramurals day to represent their
year level.

1. There shall be eight (4) representatives in each Curriculum Level (1 male, 1 female, 1 gay /
transwomen, and 1 lesbian / transman). These representatives must be the declared qualifiers
during the Elimination Round organized by the MAPEH Department and the competition
coordinators. In the event that the announced candidate backs out of the competition due to any
reasons, no substitution will be allowed. In case the curriculum level has no representative for any
of the category, the slot shall be deemed vacant and shall not be filled in by any other student.
2. There will be a registration fee of 20.00 per auditionee and a form that they need to accomplish
as a proof of their interest in joining the competition.
3. There shall be 3 rounds of competition: (1) Creative Jeans, which includes their Production
Number and Self Introduction, (2) Sports Attire, and (3) Formal Wear. PISOVOTES shall be the
4th component of the final judging to determine the over-all winner of the event.
4. Candidates are required to attend the rehearsals set by the organizers. Any missed schedule will
merit a deduction of 1 point from the total score earned by the candidate during the Grand Finals
of the competition
5. Call Time of Candidates on the Grand Finals / Coronation Event, must be strictly followed.
Violation of this provision shall merit automatic deduction of 2 points from the final score.
6. Ranking System will be used to determine the winners for each round of the competition and to
determine the winners for the entire competition.
7. PISOVOTES shall also use Ranking System and shall be the 4 th component of the judging.
7.1. Final participants will be assigned a GCASH # that a trusted teacher has.
7.2. One peso equals one vote. Students can cast as many votes as they like. (For
example, if she/he sent 50 pesos in GCASH, that is 50 votes.)
7.3. Parents, guardians, relatives, and friends are also welcome to vote in the
PISOVOTES.
7.4. The person with the most votes will be proclaimed the winner. The winner will
receive 30% of the total votes cast.
8. Criteria for Judging for the 3 competitions: Poise and Bearing – 40 %, Confidence – 30%, Stage
Presence – 20 %, Over-all Impact – 10 %.

MECHANICS & GUIDELINES
I. RULES
1. The competition shall be held with the accordance with the current Laws and Regulation
of the Badminton World Federation. However, in matters not covered by these rules and
regulations , decision shall rest with the Tournament Managers.
2. The decision of the committee in all matters regarding the competition shall be final.
3. Only the official coach listed on the gallery are allowed to approach Umpires with regards
to questions and inquiries during the match.
II. TOURNAMENT FORMAT
The format of the competition shall be run on a single elimination or knock out system for all
the events.
III. EVENTS
1. Individual Competition
Boy Singles - One entry per Team
Girl Singles - One entry per team
Boys Doubles - One entry per team
Girls Doubles - One entry per team
IV. TEAM COMPOSITION
1. A team must have a maximum of 6 players.
2. Each team shall consists of 2 singles (boy and girl) and 2 doubles (boys and girls).
3. The order of play shall be as follows: singles - singles - doubles.
V. DRAWING OF LOTS
1. Drawing lots shall be done before the game proper.
2. Coaches shall be the one to make the draw to determine their opponent.
VI. SCORING
The scoring of 1-15 (rally point) best of three shall apply instead of 1-21 rally points
due to lack of time.

1. Chess shall be played as a team in competition in Both Male and Female Category
2. Two (2) players for Male Category and Two (2) Players for Female Category and
Must be assisted with one (1) Coach
3. Coach must be identify its players as Board 1 and Board 2 in each category.
4. Chess Game will be played at a round robin format.
5. Using of Chess Clock is upon the agreement of the coach and the player.
6. Players, coaches and spectators are not allowed to make post game analysis, play
against other coaches, spectators, players or discuss finished or unfinished games
within the playing area.
7. Players are not allowed to eat in the playing area while the game is in progress.
8. Players who have finished their games should leave the playing area immediately
after submitting their score sheets.
9. Players must observe proper dress code while playing. The use of slippers, short
pants and sandos are prohibited.
10. Time control shall be One (1) hour plus thirty (30) seconds increment per
move for each player to finish the game.
11. Recording of moves in algebraic notation is not mandatory throughout the
game.
12. The defaulting time is fifteen (15) minutes after the start of each round. The
wall clock inside the playing area shall be the official clock during the tournament.
13. Mobile phones and other means of electronic communications are strictly
prohibited inside the playing area. A player who will violate this rule shall lose his/her
game.
14. A team whose member is giving unsolicited advice or assistance to his
teammate while the games are in progress shall lose their match.
15. Minor and Major Offenses Such as “Touch Move” and “Proper Placing of a
Chess Piece” will be explained by the chief arbiter during the orientation prior to the
official game.

➢ Teams are expected to be ready in the game. Maximum of 10 minutes waiting time.
➢ If any team is not ready during the designated time, their opponent can take a default win by
contacting an admin.
➢ Teams may not remake after the 1st minions wave has spawned.

➢ Players will conduct themselves in a reasonable manner, maintaining a friendly and polite
demeanor to spectators, competitors, and to all game Officials
➢ Players will refrain from the use of vulgar language during the entire competition. All rules of
conduct also apply to chatting through the game console.
➢ Players are expected to compete in a professional manner. Throwing a match, halting play
without cause, or showing a flagrant lack of effort will be construed as a violation of player
conduct, and will result in match penalties, forfeit and disqualification from the League.
➢ The game officials have the right to apply penalties, disqualify and dismiss any registered
player from the league at their discretion.

There shall be a maximum of five (5) participants distributed evenly in the different weight
divisions for both Secondary Boys and Girls in the Arnis Full Contact. As a matter of

procedure, each region/team is allowed only one (1) entry in each of the five (5) weight
category (secondary)

1. White plain T-shirt (athlete’s name, school/club logo, division and region may
appear on provided that it does not dominate the over-all appearance of the
shirt.
2. Plain red pants (school/club logo may appear on the pants).
3. Rubber soled shoes.
In case of DRAW the declaration of winner shall be based on the following criterion:
Injuries
In case of injury caused by accidental blow, the medical doctor decides/suggests to give the
injured player a little time to rest before he/she can continue the game, the decision as
stated shall be suspended for a while. However, the rest period shall not be more than two
(2) minutes after which the medical doctor must declare the fitness of the injured player to
continue or discontinue the game.
The conduct of the Full Contact competition shall be on a two-out-of-three round system.
Each round should be held for a maximum of two (2) minutes for the Secondary level.
Players are required to show artistic arnis movements unique to their styles for at least three
(3) seconds when the referee says “HANDA”. Failure to do this – First Offense will be given
BABALA or warning. Second and succeeding offenses shall be considered as PAGLABAG or
foul.
A SCORE shall meana strike with a padded stick using one hand only, delivered to a specific
body pointand is counted upon confirmation by two (2) or at least one (1) of the judges,
simultaneously recorded on the scoreboard and score sheet.
Spontaneous strike is allowed, but the judges can only give maximum three points Per
encounter but in accordance with the guidelines on legitimate strike.
1. The conduct of the competition shall be one (1) round Anyo performance for
both Secondary and Elementary level (boys/girls)
2. Each performance shall have a minimum of one (1) minute and a maximum
time limit of two (2) minutes. The official time shall start when the player/team
gives the Standard courtesy (Pugay) and it shall officially ended when the
player/teams gives the ending courtesy (Pugay).

3. Standard Pugay is at close stance, salutation is done by placing the right hand
with the weapon pointing upward over the left chest, while the left arm is at
the side at closed fist and followed by a nod.
4. The Likha Anyo performance both in secondary and elementary Level shall be
focused on Arnis skills.
5. No Acrobatic/fancy movement (such as; tumbling, back flip, somersault,
cartwheel and other combative discipline skills will be incorporated during the
performance of Likha Anyo.
6. Score in the Likha Anyo competition shall have a numerical value from 1-10
with an increment of 0.25 under the five criterion.
7. Drinking of any kind of liquid during the actual matches/performance’s is
strictly prohibited.
PENALTIES AND VIOLATIONS
4. Weapon gets destroyed or has any apparent damage to any part of the
weapon will cause the performers a deduction of five (5)points per violation
and per player in a team.

SCORING GUIDELINES
1. Beginning January 14, 2023 (Morning), the Intramurals Committee will provide a Tally Board
that will be viewable to everybody during the event.
2. Except for the Ambassador of Intramurals, all events will be scored according to the table
stated below.
3. The tabulation team, led by Abegail D. Gamale, will quickly write the score in our tally board
after the Technical Officials or Assigned Teacher of a certain event announce the winner.
4. After a specific sport/event has completed the game, the tabulation team will declare the
team rating to give us an update.
5. The only time we will score ZERO (0) if the team cannot provide player/s and we will tag
them as NO PLAYER SHOWED UP after the given time was provided.
6. Except for Ambassadors of Intramurals, this is the official Tally Board for sports and other
events.

day, please advise both AM and PM students to share the classroom in accordance with
health protocol guidelines.
3. Except for parents/guardians and makeup artists/stylists, we will not allow any outside
visits.
5. Encourage all students to prepare their lunches and other food while inside the school.
We will now enable them to leave the school after they have entered.
6. Remind students not to behave inappropriately at the events. You will be advised to them
