globalization in his/her daily life.
B. Performance he learner locates on a map the different geographical origins of the various

reflection essay on the insights gathered from the exercise.

IV. PROCEDURES Video Lesson
A. Reviewing previous 1) Routinary Activities:

for the lesson  The teacher will show a Picture featuring ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES

 To open understanding about the picture questions are prepared below.

2. How does this affect the life of the people?
3. What are possible ways you may recommend to lessen the possible
effect of these issues?
 Responses will be written on the board for processing.

D. Discussing new To further establish understanding of the lesson, the teacher will explain
concepts and practicing and present various activities in one’s daily life that show the concrete effects of

To simply understand it, imagine yourself in front of your laptop, your laptop
maybe made in China, Korea, Japan or the US. Think of how your laptop was
able to be sold in the Philippine market. Then, you are accessing your emails,
searching Google, sharing videos in your FB, uploading pictures in IG and you
can follow and unfollow treads in twitter. By using your social media accounts,
you are interacting to people you may or may not know personally from the
different parts of the world. In other words, by just using your laptop and using
different media sites, you are making the world shrink, you are shortening
distances and you are building closeness of things and people from one side of
the world to the other side, and that simply is, globalization.
E. Discussing new The teacher will discuss further the lesson using the Powerpoint Presentation
concepts and practicing stipulated in the video lesson and ask students the following questions:

globalization? How will these contribute to the improvement of society and
country.

F. Developing mastery ACTIVITY 2: (NUMBERHEADS TOGETHER)


(Leads to Formative
Assessment) The class will be divided into 5 groups containing 10 members by counting in
accordance to the color of the paper they picked which was done during the
video presentation. Each group is task to discuss IMPORTANT or KEY points in
the video they’ve watched. Every group will have a task leader who will make
sure that everybody in the group participates and shared their learning. The
time allotted for the task is 10 minutes, within the time they will discuss and
consolidate every data they’ve learned from the lesson. The Leaders will assign
2 representative in the group to share in the class this 2 domains.

A. What are those important facts leaves in their mind that would be
useful tool in breaking wrong understanding about Globalization .
B. How does the effect of globalization becomes beneficial to a lot of
people seeking for job and losing their job?

Teachers will also guide everybody on the task checking I everybody is


understanding the process of the task and entertain queries.
G. Finding Practical After the group activity, the teacher will allow group representative to present
applications of concepts their consolidated data . The presentation of group output will goes in random
and skills manner, using the colored paper prepared by the teacher to equally plot the
order of the task. A rubric for the task is also utilized to fairly impose scores.
