Facing the New Covid-19 Reality

By Xavier Malveaux

Since even the early days to the present. Covid 19 or more recently SARS-COV-2 has affected

many people and their families. Regarding a recent spike in transmission rates, SARS COV-2

has become a norm for many people. Also, it has become like the common cold or flu, or just an

inconvenience. However, the reality would contradict a huge myth. As of right now about 300

deaths happen a day. Which Is a huge decrease from a few thousand each day! Shockingly that is

about the same as the death influenza causes a day.

Sadly the people that die from it most likely die because of the lack of cures and vaccines, the

long-lasting threat of evolution can cause fear towards the people affected. All these facts

contribute to the fact that SARS-COV-2 will continue and play a HUGE role in our life s. To this

day professionals are currently watching and monitoring the effects of Covid-19 that have rested

on several epidemiologic and clinical measures.

But, with how our world is right now some of these traditions have been limited in their value.

For example, family reunions are on zoom and Microsoft teams. Parents talk to their kids about

things through.

Overall I have learned that Covid has made people not as aware about what they are doing and

who they are with. We are still trying to find how to stop it, and what mutations will come next.

Covid-19 and still come back in the future if we slack of and aren't careful.
