B: Good afternoon, Doctor Joaquín.

A: Good afternoon, Roberto.

J: Good afternoon, Brandon. How can I help you guys?
B: Well, I feel very tired. I have muscle pains in my neck, headaches and muscle
contractures.
J: How long have you had these pains?
B: I've always had these pains, but lately I've had fatigue and my neck hurts a lot.
J: AND YOU ROBERTO, HOW DO YOU FEEL? WHAT IS YOUR QUESTION?
R: MY STOMACH IS IRRITATED AND I HAVE A LOT OF FLATULENCE.

J: AH I SEE. AND FROM WHAT I UNDERSTAND, YOU HAVE VIRTUAL CLASSES AND YOU DON'T
DO A LOT OF SPORTS ACTIVITIES. I RECOMMEND THAT YOU DRINK WATER AND TAKE A
BUSCAPINE PILL AND TO AVOID FLATULENCE YOU SHOULD NOT CONSUME CARBONATED
BEVERAGES OR CHEWING GUM.

R: THANK YOU DOCTOR

J: GOOD BRANDON From what I understand, you are studying at the university and you
have virtual classes. How many hours a day do you have classes?

B: Some days I have 3 hours and some days I have 6 hours of classes. I usually stay a
few hours longer because I have homework and other activities to do.
J:GOOD Muscle aches in the neck, head and muscle contractures are very common in
college students. These are caused by incorrect postures when sitting at the computer.
I am glad you came here, if these pains are not treated in time, they can aggravate
your health and this can reflect on your academic performance.
B: AND WHAT WOULD YOU RECOMMEND, DOCTOR?

J: You need to do stretching and muscle relaxation exercises during your study day
breaks. I'm going to give you some pills for headaches. You have to take care of your
diet for a better academic performance.
B: OK DOCTOR JOAQUIN. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
