    To: All Sperry Marine Offices and all authorized Service Stations

    Subject: MK 2 Display flickering

    Description: It was encountered with the temperature rise on some MK 2 main


    boards the display starts flickering and above 40°C the main
    board stops working due to Watchdog shutting down.

    Required Action: This issue will be resolved by changing the MK 2 main board
    Software.
    The EEPROM with the contained Software will be available by
    the 16th of April with Stock number
    020669 in our European Distribution Center in the Netherlands.

    Temporary solution to keep a vessel running is to take out the


    displays from the socket. Secure the display inside the MK2 .
    Make sure that you have done all settings before. Keep tracking
    of that vessel for Software upgrading.
