What's the focus?

My main focus is to investigate the causes of child sexual abuse and that why it is increasing in our
society and what are the reasons behind this sinful act. Through different interviews, we'll be able to
know why children are prone to sexual abuse.

Why are you making this project?

I'm making this project because in my opinion, this issue still exists in our society and a lot of innocent
kids are being abused on daily basis. There are certain cases which got media support but there are
thousands of cases which are not even reported. To create awareness among the society through
different measures, I want to give the message that how we can protect our child from this evil act.

What story do you want to tell?

I'll be telling a true story of a blind girl who was sexually assaulted by her own maternal cousin and was
thrown from the roof top. The main motive behind my documentary will be that abusers are not only
present in our society but also in our families and that we should know better understand and
differentiate that no one is loyal except parents.

What topics will be explored?

My documentary will be based on descriptive approach and through interviews of lawyer, psychologist,
Islamic scholar and media analyst, causes and reason behind child sexual abuse, ratio of such cases, and
why it still exists today will be explored.

What information do you hope to convey to your audience?

From this documentary, Im hoping to convey education related to sex, difference between bad and good
touch. Beside that, I want to communicate a message for parents that we need to start giving basic sex
education to our kids in this 21st century so that they easily differentiate between right and wrong and
can protect themselves from such predators.

What aspects of your topics are most compelling?

The most compelling aspects are

1. to aware and counsel your kids regarding inappropriate actions

2. not trusting relatives or anyone in the family

Are there new angles to explore in your topic?

Yes, sex education is what we don't talk about. The new angle I want people to talk about is sex
education that we need stop shaming and start protecting our innocent kids.

What is approach?
I'll be using descriptive approach starting with a child innocent nature and then how it is ruined by
merciless predators, following with 3-4 interviews relating to that case. Ratio of child sexual abuse in
Pakistan. In the end, I'll be mentioning preventive measures.

What is idea?

The thought of this documentary came in my mind because this is the issue that is not ending in Pakistan
instead the ratio of such cases increase year by year. To investigate the reason behind this and how we
can protect our kids from this is what I'll be showing in my project.

What is concept?

The concept I'll be inculcating in the audience will be that sexual abuse need to be stop and one should
not trust anyone. We have abusers present in our families too and that we need to teach our kids how
to say NO. This is only possible if parents starts counseling their children at early stage.
