for them to be open in learning.

And I believe there’s no success

The researchers must know what
their goal is. Avoid thinking
negatively and always think before
making a decision. Avoid thinking
about other people’s opinion and
stay motivated. Furthermore, they
should stop overthinking
everything and do what is just.
I thought that in research I’m just gonna search for the things that I want
to know. But while reading and understanding the module provided, I’m
amazed that there were some important things that I must first know to
come up with a successful and correct research. Some words that I’ve
put in mind are ethics which I first thought it was about good and bad,
then the characteristics of research and researcher, the research process,
and the research misconducts.

I learned that research is a process of collecting, analyzing and

interpreting information to answer questions. Then, ethics is indeed
considered to deal with beliefs about what is right or wrong, proper or
improper, good or bad. The characteristics of research is already
discussed in the previous learning activity sheets so I already have an
idea about it before, however, analyzing it again helps to widen my
knowledge and understand it clearly. As I read about the characteristics
of the researcher, I think I must start to practice it since it is necessary
while conducting a research. Then, I’ve learned that the research process
is important in conducting a research because it’ll help to come up with
a good study. And lastly is about the research misconducts which are
fabricating, falsification and plagiarism. Plagiarism is very familiar to
me, since I’m a fan of reading wattpad stories, written on the first page
of the book is “Plagiarism is a crime etc.” and since it’s a crime we shall
avoid it. Overall, I’ve enjoyed gathering knowledge in this module.
