following:

1. History of volleyball;
The team sport of volleyball was invented in 1895 by American physical
education teacher William G. Morgan. Morgan created a new sport performed over a
high net and incorporated elements of basketball, baseball, tennis, and handball.
"Mintonette" was the original name of the competition. In 1916, the United States
Volleyball Association (USVBA) was established, which standardized the rules and
regulations of the game. Though 1920, the first volleyball competition occurred
officially, and by the 1950s, volleyball had become a world game.

2. The development of volleyball from United states to Philippines.

Volleyball originated in the United States in 1895, was popular in the past years,
and spread to other countries, including the Philippines, where introduced in the
early 1900s. Volleyball quickly became popular in the Philippines, especially in local
communities and schools. The Philippine Amateur Volleyball Association (PAVA)
was established in the 1940s to promote the game nationally and standardize its
rules and regulations. The Philippines developed into one of the top nations in
Southeast Asia during the 20th century as volleyball's appeal there expanded. The
Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) Championship was one of many international

volleyball competitions hosted by the Philippines in the 1980s, further solidifying its
position as a top volleyball nation.
