Operating

instructions for pole punching machines

First, the installation and fixation of the equipment: the equipment is placed on the hard ground
(such as cement floor), adjust the horizontal height and fix it with the ground. If connected to the
pipe cutter, the pipe cutter discharge rack should be fixed before the device is connected to it

Second, the input power line specifications: three-phase four-wire transmission, U V W three fire
wire diameter ≥ 12mm2 copper wire, connected to the input wiring row of the control cabinet,
ground wire ≥ 6 mm2, access to the input wiring block of the control cabinet, (pay attention to
the position of the zero line N. As shown in Figure 1:

Third, access to compressed air: from the air compressor to lead the trachea inserted into the
compressed air input of the equipment, as shown in Figure 2, the air pressure is adjusted to 0.4-0
6MPa 。 (Pressure regulation method: pull the black knob on the upper end of the pressure
reducing filter with force, rotate clockwise to increase the pressure, counterclockwise reduce the
pressure, adjust it and then press it.) )

Fourth, the injection of hydraulic oil: open the lid of the tank mouth, add good quality anti-wear
hydraulic oil #46, so that the oil level reaches the full scale of the tank temperature gauge, as shown
in Figure 3 (full About 250 liters of hydraulic oil is required. The filling port is located in
Figure 4:

Fifth, adjust the size


of the tooling:
loosen the 4 fixed
bolts under
the sliding
cylinder, as
shown in Figure
5, put the round pipe into the feeding rack, so that the round pipe
distance The baffle at both ends of the loading rack is 2-3mm
distance, which can make the pipe roll down smoothly, adjust it
and then tighten its bolts.

Sixth, the operation method:


1、 Before starting the machine, check whether the connecting wires, trachea, fuel tank, etc. are
well connected, whether they are short of gas, oil. Special
attention should be paid to the fact that the 3-phase 4-wire of the
power supply inlet line cannot be connected to the wrong
position. U/V/W is the line of fire, and N is the zero line.
2、 After everything is normal, press the green "power on" button on the
control box, the power is turned on, the touch screen displays
the boot screen, and then press the green "motor on" button, and
the oil pump motor works. (Pay attention to the direction of
motor rotation, turn in the direction indicated by the motor, if not, power off, adjust the
motor power line phase.) (That is, the three wires of
the motor are arbitrarily replaced with 2 positions.) )
as shown in Figure 6
3、 Adjust the oil pressure: the oil pressure gauge pointer
points to 8--10MPa, can not exceed 10MPa, the
pressure is too high, the oil pump motor is easy to
burn out. Draw a red circle as shown in Figure 7,
adjustment method: enter the touch screen manual
screen, press the "relief valve" button, and the relief
valve opens the pressure gauge to display the pressure,
increase clockwise, and decrease instead.
4、 When the system is shut down, press the red "Power Off" button to power off. When the
motor is not allowed to work, press the "electric mechanism" and the motor stops.
5、 Enter the manual screen of the touch screen: press the "relief valve" key, open the relief
valve, and then press the "punching back" and "left and right release" keys respectively to
return the cylinder to the initial state, check whether each limit signal is in the initial position:
Press the "Auto Screen" button on the boot screen to enter the touch screen auto screen, the
initial state: Auto Screen X3/X5/X20/X21/X26/X27 The 6 display lights should be green.
This is shown in Figure 9. (You can view the status of each
input signal in the auto screen, and turning green is the
corresponding station in the initial state.) ) does not turn
green, appropriately adjust the corresponding probe position,
so that the probe light is on, the signal light becomes green. (
Probe detection distance 2-3mm, can not exceed 4mm,
otherwise the probe is not bright) as shown in Figure 8
probe.
6、 Put the tube into the punching die, open the
relief valve in the manual screen, hold
down the "left and right clamp" button,
clamp the tube, and then adjust the left
and right probe plates on the guide rail, so
that the probe has a signal light and fix the plate. After the adjustment is made, press the
"Release Left and Right" key to clamp the cylinder left and right to reset.
7、 Enter the parameters screen, select the punching function, and set the other parameters to
work. The parameters are shown in Figure 10.

8、 Processing steps: in the automatic screen or in the manual screen to select the display of
"single" status: put the tube on the feeding rack, start the foot switch, start automatic feeding,
the tube falls to place, left and right The clamping cylinder begins to push inward, and after
the thrust is in place, the delay begins to punch,
and the punching ends. The middle
clamping cylinder action clamps the pipe
tightly, and after the punching is retracted into
place, the left and right clamping cylinders
begin to retreat, and after the middle cylinder is
released and the unloading begins, The
processing ends automatically after the
discharge is completed. For the next process, you also have to press the foot switch to start. If
you select the Continuous state, you can start the foot switch only once. As long as there is a
tube, it will work continuously and continuously. Until the power is cut off or the
"Emergency Stop" button is pressed. (The Single-Shot and Continuous states are selected
based on the actual situation.) It is recommended to select the Single-Time status when you
first start the operation).
Eight: common faults and solutions and maintenance instructions
1、 Pedal switchgear does not work:
A: Whether the emergency stop switch is locked, reset can be
B: The foot switch is not turned on, directly short connect the two wires to try, if it is
good, replace the foot pedal.
C: The cable plug of the control box and the equipment is not plugged in, and it can be
plugged in.
D: The retract limit probe on the left and right clamp cylinders and punching cylinders is not
in place, as long as any one is not in place or the probe is broken, the equipment does
not work. (Check the auto screen whether the input signal of the
X3/X5/X20/X21/X26/X27 probe turns green.)
2、 Hole punching:
A: The pressure of the oil pump is not enough, increase the pressure.
B: The time of setting the "punching time" parameter in the parameter setting screen is
short and the time is increased.
C: The punch is broken, replace.
3、 The punched hole has burrs: the punch is heavily worn or the die core is worn.
Replacement.
4、 In the normal processing process, after the tube falls, the left and right forward push
cylinders do not move forward, and the rest do not move:
Check whether there is a limit probe at the left and right loading and unloading
cylinders, whether the probe probe is probing to the tube (the distance of the probe
surface from the tube is not more than 4MM), or the probe is broken, adjust the
distance or replace. (Either one has a problem and does not act).
5、 In the continuous state, there are tubes, and the equipment does not work
continuously
Check whether the X6 continuous feed signal probe on the edge of the loading cylinder is lit
A: not bright, whether the probe distance is far, should be ≤ 4mm Adjust the distance
closer or the probe is broken or the line is broken.
B: The light is on, the automatic screen X6 light does not turn green, the PLC-X6 input
light is not on: the probe is broken, replace.
6、 If you want to finish this one in a continuous state, press the "single/continuous"
button again, become a single word, and the device will stop after flushing this one. If
you start the device again, you must press the foot switch to start it.
7、 Press the "Punch in", "Relief Valve", "Left and Right Clamping" keys in the manual
screen, and the cylinder does not respond and does not move.
A: The corresponding relay light in the control box is not lit, and the oil valve lamp is
not lit, which may be that the transformer fuse is burned. The location is shown in
Figure 11. Replace the fuse, if you replace it with a new one and burn it again, then
the oil valve coil is burned out, and check the oil valve coil one by one.
B: Whether the emergency stop switch is pressed and locked, reset can be.
8、 Press the "Motor On" button on the operation box, and the motor does not turn:
A: The contactor does not fit: use a multimeter to measure whether the motor open and
the electrical organ key switch are in poor contact, there is no connection, the motor
open button: connect to the normal opening point, the electrical organ button: the
normal closing point. Replace the key switch. Whether the normal closing point of the
heat measurement relay is on, it is not passed, the
thermal relay is protected, and the reset can be.
B: Contactor suction, no problem with the switch,
measure whether the three-phase electricity at the
front and rear ends of the contactor has a voltage
AC220V, the input has electricity, the output has no
electricity, the contactor is broken, replace. If there is
electricity on both ends of the contactor, test whether
the thermal relay burns out.
C: There is no problem, the motor power supply has three phases of electricity, the
motor does not rotate, and the motor is replaced badly.
9、 If only one end hole needs to be punched, the on-off valve shown in Figure 12 needs to
be closed.
10. Replacement of the punching rod method: As shown in Figure 13:
A: Remove the feeding and unloading racks first. The
cylinder retracts into place, removes the three screws
marked 1 on the figure, and uses a crowbar to move the
guide sleeve toward the bottom in the direction of the
arrow
B: Remove the 2 connecting rod from the cylinder shaft
with a hammer.
C: Exit the guide sleeve in the opposite direction, and
the punch rod can be taken out.
Replace the bar and
restore it in order.

11. Replacement core method: As


shown in Figure 14:

back in place
Remove the four bolts on the cylinder
connection plate shown in Figure 14 and
push the entire punching device away for a distance. Use a hammer to gently tap the core of the
circle drawn on Figure 15, and the core will exit from the back, and then reset after replacement.

12, there is a probe on the loading

probe detects the signal, the light is on,

detect the signal or the probe is bad
The device does not work until the
probe receives a signal. This probe
receives a signal output corresponding to the X6 lamp in the auto screen.
13, Figure 19 shown, there is also a discharge completion probe on the unloading rack, the probe did
not detect the signal during the unloading process, the next time the equipment does not work, do not
materialize, check whether the distance is far or the probe is
broken, artificially placed on the probe with iron sheets, to
see if it will work.

14. There are also probes at both ends of the mold, as


shown in Figure 20
Here the left and right probes if one does not detect a signal, the cylinders at both ends are not
clamped. If the 2 probes here have been signaling, then the next feeding cylinder does not move, to
prevent there are pipes here, and then the feeding is repeated, squeezing the mold badly.

12. Maintenance instructions:


A: Clean up the washed down scrap in time for each shift to prevent
damage to the punch.
B: Periodically check whether the screws are tightened (especially the
screws that fix the limit signal probe).
C: Regularly inject lubricating oil into the guide rails, punches and guide
columns.
D: Clean up dust and oil in a timely manner every shift.
E: Hydraulic oil is used for a long time to replace in time.
Nine: Page Introduction:
A. Boot screen page: The screen displayed as soon as the boot is turned on.

1、 "Auto Screen" button: Press it to enter the "Auto Screen" page.

2、 "Manual Screen" button: Press once to enter the "Manual Screen" page.

3、 "Parameter Settings" button: Press once to enter the "Parameter Settings" page.

B. Automatic screen: mainly shows the process of action, whether the limit probe is lit. As
shown in Figure 16,
1. "Start" button: You can press this button at
startup
2. "Stop Emergency Stop" button: You can
also press this button when the emergency
stops.
3. Parameter Parameter button: Press under
this page to enter the parameter settings page.
4 "ESC" button: Click to exit this screen.
5, the other is the display of the input
corresponding to the control signal light, the initial state is red, after the position should
become green, in place if not green, indicating that the probe distance is far or bad.

C. Manual screen: As shown in Figure 17:

1, "punching in", "punching back", "middle


clamping", "middle loosening", "left
and right clamping", "left and right
loosening" these 6 The buttons are pressed
by hand all the way to the corresponding
cylinder, and when they are released, they
stop.
2, "feeding", "unloading", "relief valve" these 3 buttons, press the corresponding action, have
been maintained, and then press another to reset. (Operate in a stopped state).
3, "single/continuous" button: this is the same button, when the display is "single time",
starting a foot switch can only complete a
cycle cycle, the next cycle must be started
again. When you select Continuous, you only
need to start once, and the device works again
and again.
D. Parameter setting page:,

1. Delayed feeding: After the time of setting is


up, the loading cylinder will start to move.
2. Delay left and right clamping: loading to the mold position, the probe detects the signal delay
clamping cylinder action time.
3, delay in the middle of the release: after the time of setting up, the middle cylinder begins to
release the action.
4. Delayed unloading: After the time of setting has arrived, the discharge cylinder will start to move.
5. Unloading time: The time when the discharge cylinder is lifted, and the time is
automatically reset after the time is up.
6, punching time: the hole punching through the time required, set the time to a little longer,
short time, easy to punch impermeable.
7, the middle clamping time: the time required for tube clamping, the time is up to the PLC to carry
out the next action
8. Delay left and right release: After the punching cylinder is regressed into place, the delay opens
the time to release the oil valve left and right.
9. "Select no punching function/ Select punching function" key: If it is connected with the pipe
cutting machine, when you do not need to punch, you will choose not
punching function, and when you need to punch, select the punching
function.
