Operating Instructions
1. Tape machine instruction manual overview
You are welcome to use the tape sealing equipment produced by our company. Please read the
following contents carefully before production and use, so as to serve you better and improve your
company's production efficiency.
This equipment is a device for sealing cans with tape. In today's society where the labor cost of
workers is increasing, using tape sealing equipment for production greatly saves labor costs. The
quality of the produced products is not beautiful, quality, efficiency and other aspects. Manual
production is incomparable.

2. Brief introduction of equipment components

3 head mounted cylinder shaft
When there are multiple can molds with different sizes, it is necessary to replace the appropriate
indenter, remove the original indenter from the cylinder shaft with a wrench, and then install the
replacement one.
4 A pressure box height manual adjustment hand wheel
Use the handwheel to adjust the lifting of the screw rod to adjust the pressure head to press the jar
tightly to prevent the bottom of the jar and the mold from slipping during the sealing process.
5 C tape height adjustment hand wheel
Adjust the lifting of the screw rod by the hand wheel, and adjust the position of the tape up and down.

1. The start-up screen of the device displays Chinese and ENGLISH, click Chinese to enter the
automatic screen of the Chinese system, and click ENGLISH to enter the English system.

1 Start the equipment cycle operation key, each time it is pressed, the equipment completes a working
process, and the foot switch corresponds to the start button to control the equipment to work.
2 Stop Before entering the manual screen to debug the action position of the device, you need to click
stop to manually control the test of various motion functions in the manual screen.
3 Program 1—Program 5 Five groups of programs, which can save different parameters of the five
groups of programs. Input each parameter in the parameter screen and save it to the corresponding
program. Before starting, click to select the corresponding program required by the product.
4 Production volume The value displayed is the production quantity. Every time it is started, the
equipment will complete a working process by default, and a value will be added to the production
volume meter. After completing the work on duty, the production volume can be cleared to zero by
pressing the reset key under the numerical display.
5 Reset Every time after shutting down or restarting the device, you need to click the reset button to
start the device. When the motor stops and returns to its original position due to other reasons, you
need to click reset and start the device again.

1. When the device needs to manually debug each action function, click the stop button in the automatic
screen, and then click the manual screen to enter
1 Under the pressure head According to the different heights of the cans, use the handwheel A to adjust
the screw pressure head to press the cans tightly to prevent the cans from slipping.
2 Taping When the taping action is working, the reserved tape of the taping wheel is pressed tightly
against the position where the can box needs to be sealed.
3 Press Tape When the tape is pasted, click on the tape press action, and the press tape wheel presses
on the tape of the can
4 Cutter The cutter cuts off the adhesive tape during manual debugging or automatic operation of the
equipment.
5 Blowing Tape Due to the physical phenomenon of the tape, before each taping, the cutter cuts off the
tape and sets a blowing action respectively to prevent the tape from rebounding and sticking to the
one-way wheel clamped in front.
6 Taping position adjustment is mainly used for square tank box debugging. The starting point of the
tape is pasted on the highest corner of the tank box. Click the parameter screen to observe the value of
the parameter value of the tape position in the screen, which is the current tape position. parameter.
7 Paper cutting Manually adjust the label paper punched out by the paper cutting die
8 Paper cutting motor The label paper is clamped by the roller and the sponge wheel assembled on the
motor to rotate and roll out the paper roll

1. On the automatic screen, click the parameter screen to enter
1 Paper cutting delay The action delay parameter of the paper cutting mold
2 Delay turntable When the device is started, according to the set parameter value, the waiting time
for the turntable to stay when it rotates. If the parameter is set to 5S, after pressing start, wait for the
5S device to start running.
3 Taping position When the taping wheel cylinder is working, the tape is pasted on the position of
the can according to the set parameters. If the parameter value is set to 0.01 circles, the turntable rotates
0.01 circles, and the tape sticking wheel works, and the tape is pasted on the position of 0.01 circles
on the can. Worked, the tape stuck where it was after a half turn of the can. The reference value set for
round cans is 0.01-0.2 circles, and the reference value for square cans is 0.01-0.1 circles.
4 Tape length The tape wheel is pushed out, the tape is pasted on the can, the turntable rotates, and the
tape wheel returns to its original position when the parameter value of the tape length is reached.
5 Blowing time Blowing time when the cutter cuts off
6 Tape blowing Blowing time when the tape roller tapes
7 Sticker position The label paper is pasted about 5-25MM behind the tape tear.
The different widths of the tapes, different viscosities, the speed of the motor turntable, the pressure of
the paper cutting cylinder and other factors will affect the actual front and rear positions of the label
paper, which should be set according to the actual debugging situation, and can be matched with the
cutting position, the circumference of the jar, etc. Parameter adjustment

10 Turntable stroke Number of revolutions of the motor shaft
11 When sealing the tape at the cutting position, the tape should be sealed around the can box, and
after it coincides with the starting point of the tape by 20-50mm, the position where the tape is cut off
by the cutter. Because the tape has physical stretchability, the reference range of the value of the tape
cutting position is (1.0 —1.25 circles) According to the actual debugging requirements, choose and set
the appropriate cutting position parameters.
12 A . The height of the pressure box is adjusted by the handwheel A to adjust the position of the screw
rod, and the pressure head is adjusted to press the tank box. After the position is adjusted, enter the
parameters according to the value of the position display under the handwheel, and save it in the
corresponding program, such as various products. If it is necessary to change the product for
production, call out the program parameters corresponding to the product, and adjust the position of
the pressure head of the product according to the parameters.
13 C. Tape Height The operation is the same as the A pressure box height (adjust the tape height
through the hand wheel C).
14 D. Tape Depth Adjust the front and rear positions of the taping wheels for cans with different sizes
and diameters through the hand wheel D.

4. Introduction to basic production operations


1 When our products leave the factory, they will be debugged according to the product samples
provided by you. When the equipment leaves the factory, we will inform you of the corresponding
procedures for product debugging and storage, and select the corresponding procedures for production
according to the products.
2 Plug in the equipment, connect the air source, observe the barometer, check whether the pressure of
the external air source is appropriate, and turn on the power switch.
3 Click Chinese on the start-up screen to enter the automatic screen.
4 Click the reset button on the automatic screen.
5 Click to select the program number corresponding to the production product.
6 Click Start on the display or press the foot switch to start production.
5. Basic debugging operation
1 Press head debugging New product debugging, replace the mold of the product to be produced, press
down the pressure head on the manual screen, and then raise the pressure head according to the
approximate height of the can to put the can into the mold, turn the A handwheel, The pressure head is
adjusted to compress the can box through the lifting of the screw rod.
2 Tape height adjustment Adjust the height of the tape to the proper position of the can sealing by
rotating the C handwheel to adjust the lifting of the screw rod. Normally, the sealing tape is at a position
slightly lower than the middle of the taping wheel (if the sealing height of the can tape is lower than
30MM, You need to adjust the height of the tape reel, loosen the nut under the tape reel, and lower the
position of the tape on the tape roller).
3 Tape wheel adjustment The position adjustment of the tape wheel is mainly divided into round cans
and square cans
The tape veneer of the round can box is a circular arc. The front and rear positions of the tape sticking
wheel are adjusted by the D handwheel. The inner edge is a reference point and can be adjusted
appropriately according to the actual situation.
The starting point of the tape veneer of the square can is at the position of the first corner of the diagonal
of the can when the main shaft rotates clockwise.
4 Adjustment of the position of the cutter After the cutter cuts off the tape, the length of the tape left
on the taping wheel should not be too short or too long, about 5mm to the right of the center of the
taping wheel should be reserved. Scratch, as shown below
5 . Adjustment of the position of the pinch roller The pinch position of the pinch wheel directly affects
the sealing effect. If the angle of the pinch wheel is not correct, it will cause a piece of tape after cutting
to not completely stick to the can, resulting in a "tail" running out ; Or after cutting, the tape sticks to
the can, but the interface is wrinkled, or the tape is overlapped and uneven, which affects the sealing
effect of the tape.
The pressure pulley is divided into single pressure pulley and double pressure pulley. The single
pressure pulley is used for round cans, and the double pressure pulley is used for square cans. The
adjustment method of the two pressure pulleys is the same. Loosen the pressure arm connecting rod
and the upper pressure pulley. The angle of the wheel.

If the pressure roller needs to be adjusted at a large angle, it is necessary to loosen the screws
corresponding to (X, Y, Z) shown in the component introduction, first adjust the connecting rod of the
pressure arm to the correct position, and then adjust the pressure arm of the pressure roller. Location.
The position adjustment of the pinch wheel mainly follows three principles: 1. The pinch wheel and
the pinch wheel cannot collide with the tape-applying wheel when the equipment is working; There is
a certain distance between the wheel and the cutter; 3. After taking into account the above two factors,
the adjustment of the pressure roller should be close to the direction of the cutter at the largest angle.
The closer the tape roller is, the tape will be cut off from the tight state. , to prevent the tensile rebound
at the tape fracture, so that the incision fits more perfectly.
6. Adjust the position of the label paper. The label paper is to facilitate customers to easily find the
tearing position of the tape. Generally, it is about 5-25mm behind the tape cut. The parameters of the
label are generally within the parameters of the tape cutting position. Factors such as different widths
of tapes, different viscosities, stretchability, motor turntable speed, and pressure of the paper cutting
cylinder will affect the actual front and rear positions of the label paper. Adjust the parameters such as
the belt position and the circumference of the tank, and the parameters should be set according to the
actual debugging situation

7. After the tape is used up, the tape replacement method is shown by the red arrow in the figure below

6. Common problems and troubleshooting

1 The device is not powered on


Check point: Whether the external power supply voltage meets the standard, and a professional
electrician checks whether the leakage protection switch of the electric box is closed.
2 Turn on the power and press start or the foot switch device does not work
Check points: whether the emergency button is pressed, whether the reset is pressed before starting,
and the motor returns to the original position of work.
3 The tape sticking wheel is in motion, and the tape is not attached to the can after the equipment
is sealed
Check points: whether the air pressure of the external air source is sufficient, whether the tape sticking
wheel is close to the seal of the can when it is working, and whether the reserved length of the tape is
sufficient
4 The tape is cut off, and the tape at the sealing is less than a circle, or only a small section is
attached to it
Check points: first check whether the tape cutting position in the parameter screen is within the
appropriate parameter value, then check whether the contact surface between the bottom of the tank
and the mold is not pressed tightly, and there is slippage, and then check the interface between the tank
lid and the tank Also is there any slippage issue.
5 The label paper of the mold cannot be flushed out

Check points:
1. Press Cut Paper on the manual screen to see if the cylinder and mold are moving.
2. The solenoid valve of the paper punching mold cylinder is connected to the air source pressure
master gauge, and check whether the external air source pressure is above 6 kg.
Third, check whether the thickness of the label paper exceeds 0.1MM. If it is too thick, it cannot be
washed out. Generally, it is not recommended to exceed the thickness of 0.1MM.

7. Matters needing attention


The voltage of this equipment is 220V, and it must be reliably grounded before use. There are five
sets of programs built in the touch screen, and the parameters of five sets of programs can be set, so
that users can call different programs for production according to different cans, saving equipment
after replacing cans and molds. High debug time.
Improper operation of machine parts and mechanical actions during operation may cause personal
injury, please pay attention to safety regulations.
The equipment system has an existing program. When there is one product or several new products to
be added to the program, after the product has been debugged and all parameters are set on the
parameter screen, it can be saved in any group of programs in programs 1-5 , the current saved
parameters will overwrite the original program parameters, so care should be taken when modifying
and saving parameters to prevent misoperation from overwriting other product parameters that are
needed, resulting in the loss of original product programs and parameters.

8. Maintenance and replacement of wearing parts


Lubricating oil should be regularly added to the screw rod and other rotating parts of the equipment.
During the working process, it is necessary to pay attention to whether there are abnormal noises in all
aspects during the operation of the equipment, such as loose screws, etc., and should be dealt with in
time.
The sticking wheel and pressing wheel of this equipment are made of sponge, and the cutter is made
of alloy steel, which are all vulnerable parts and should be replaced in time according to the actual
usage.
