Operation On LJT-4D HLC Paper Tube Winder

Top layer:paper ply feeding way.

II. Temperature set for lubrication


1. If you use solid lubrication,should heat it,set in the meter,press ”AM”,then
for higher,and for lower.Then press “AM” again to finish.
2. Notice:when the jumpo roll becomes small,increase the
tension,otherwise,because of loosen ply,the roller with encoder may
detects wrong,and cut the tube length differs much.And must ensure that
the paper ply feeding is passing through this roller.

Main reel stand:


Paper ply feeding:
paper ply should be in line from main winder to glue unit and paper
reel stand.
a. On ZT paper reel stand

Loosen the red screws to move the guiding rollers in or out.


Notice:
1. Urgent stop and speed down
Speed down:machine’s speed will reduce for some works like paper ply
connecting if you don’t have enough time,after finish,press it again,speed
will back.
Notice:don’t use urgent stop for ply connecting.,because machine will
completely stop.
PL glue unit:

1. Check the paper ply feeding way.

2. Adjust paper ply position to ensure it feeding straightly into the winder
feeding rack.
3. The tension plate can also move in and out to keep paper ply in line.
4. the meters in the top line is for left tension plate cylinder,and second line is
for right side.
5. Good paper higher pressure than bad paper.
6. Glue Scraper is used to adjust the glue volume for paper ply.Turn right to
reduce glue, and turn left to increase glue.
(Notice:after paper ply feeding to winder shaft fixed well,please check the
glue volume in every layer.)
7. there is a glue port let glue flow down,but make sure not flow on the paper
ply edge,should be in the middle of paper ply.

8. Keep certain volume glue,if too much will belt skipping,and too less,can’t
adhesive well.
9. Hihgher speed,less glue,lower speed,more glue.

Glue Unit Clean


1. Before you stop machine when off-work,stop glue pump in touch screen,
then close the glue valves of pipe.Finally remove the glue pot and clean it.
2. Remove the glue pot together with scaper and clean it every day after work.
3. Empty the glue pot.If you don’t empty,please remove the dry layer on the
top every day before work.
4. Glue pot should clean every week.But if you stop production 2~3days,you
should take it off from the glue stand to clean it at the last production day.
Main winder:
1. Paper ply feeding way:
When run test,you can ignore the ply guiding bar like photo 1,but once adjsut
well,and run normal,feeding paper ply through it like photo 2
If the paper ply doesn’t touch any guiding bar,just through in the middle like
above photo yellow marked,please insert through the next bar like blue one.

notice: If you winding paper ply on the mandrel with big gap like above photo
shows,please don’t winding other plies on,because glue on other plies will
adhesive on the mandrel.Should be close the ply at least like below photo,then
winding other plies on.
2. Belt winding mode

3. Mandrel position:
A. For small ID like 3” tube,push the mandrel forward,ensure the second
belt is winding on its middle body,rather than on its edge,in case mandrel
bent.
B. For big ID like 350,pull the mandrel backward,but ensure the second belt
is winding on the mandrel,not inside empty,then backward as possible
as it can.In case when big force in running,the mandrel fixed part broken.
C. Crossbeam open:increase the winding gap
D. Crossbeam close:reduce the winding gap.

III. Hand wheels function:


Used to control the winding gap.

These two used to adjust belt tightness

One used to close both knives’ distance for knives cutting depth,and another is
used to adjust 2rollers’ distance for hold tube
Used to adjsut the holder’s distance to support tube.

Used to lift or down the rollers to press tube.


IV. Knife cutting position

Knives cut on this position as above photo shows,when wear,you can move the
nylon shaft back,cut max on the middle of the shaft,can’t on the right side.

V. Mandrel installation:

Make mark on the screw,every time you re-fix mandrel after size change,
ensure same position for screw connect with mandrel,because every mandrel
will causing winding polishing direction after a period time of running.
VI. Operation panel

Bottom-ply detector:when turn on it,bottom-ply broken,it alarms,but when you


speed down,bottom-ply move slowly,it may also alarm.So you can turn off it to
reduce alarm situation,engineer think turn off is more convient for operation.
Glue pump switch:switch it to run glue pump
Reel stand right/left:
Front angle right/left:

Glue stand front/back:move glue unit close or leave main winder.In


summer,glue will dry faster than in winter,so in summer,closer to main winder
VII. Electrical Cabinet
1. If the red marked(yellow pieces) red light,switch off on key operation panel.
2. If servo alarms,just turn off servo and restrart.You can also turn off the
general power then restart after 2mins,not immidately re-turn on.
If inverter alarms,should turn off the general power then restart.

VIII. Run machine


On operation:turn on key switch→main motor start→speed adjustment
meter(low speed)→glue pump switch→when tube winding normal,turn on
“length counter→speed up “speed adjustment meter”
Some also can operation on touch screen,like” main motor start”,”glue pump”

Notice:
1. If tube is not normal winding,just under adjustment and preparation,please
don’t turn on “length counter”,because it will active knives cut,dangerous.
2. Keep you hands from the winding belt,very dangerous
