    PROBLEM:

    One of society's issues has been the usage of plastic materials in agriculture, which
    poses major environmental risks. Creating a plant pot out of peanut shell can help
    reduce the usage of plastic, as billions of plastic pots are discarded every year, causing
    a massive waste problem. This pot is a biodegradable container that will help the
    plants grow well.

    BACK UP STUDY:

    An alternative to plastic pots is the production and use of biodegradable pots from
    agricultural and plant waste. Biodegradable pots allow roots to permeate the pot wall
    while the plant continues to grow normally after transfer to the ground (Gholami and
    Gholami 2019). Significant amounts of solid waste are generated in various
    agricultural industries, with land filling and incineration are among the primary
    methods for agricultural waste management. Therefore, the production of
    environmentally friendly products from agricultural waste can provide employment
    and added value (Harris et al.2020)

    METHODS:

    The process of making the peanut shell planter pots starts by grinding the peanut
    shells in the mixer. Then, add water to the crushed shells to make it into a pulp. After
    that, mold it onto a water bottle to form the shape of a pot and lastly, dry it under the
    sun. The mold should be dried up and stay in its for. And its ready to be used.
