PRODUCE The insights and best practices you have gleaned from the readings and discussion in
this module will be put in the context of practice through your Job-Embedded Learning
task specific to PPST Career Stages. Proficient Teachers (Career Stage 2) are expected
to develop a School-facilitated Family and Community Program: A Communication Plan
for Improving Parents/Families’ participation in school. Highly Proficient Teachers
(Career Stage 3) are tasked to develop SIS (Systematic Integrated Sustainable) Training
Program for Parents.

Introduction: Casilda P. Venus Elementary School belongs to a small category with more or less
120 pupils and 7 teachers. We offer Kindergarten to Grade 6 curriculum.

Objectives: School-facilitated Family and Community Program involves the participation of

parents/families in regular, two-way, meaningful communication involving student
academic learning and other school activities. The Casilda P. Venus Elementary
School’s program aims to:
▪ Strengthen the involvement of parents in school’s programs and activities.
