1 Please confirm your understanding on the scope of work as
described and shown in the document.
2 Have you visited the site, examined, understand and assessed
the site condition? All cost relating to site conditions are
deemed to be included in your tender price.

3 Kindly confirm that you shall agree to implement the QA & QC

and health & safety plans in compliance with Employer
requirement.

4 Do aware that the CAR insurance policy does not cover for all
your plant and equipment. You shall take out a separate
insurance to cover for all your plant and equipment.

5 Please confirm that the Works shall be carried out in

compliance with the Engineer's Specification as stated in the
tender documents. Any qualifications must be highlighted in
writing.

6 The tenderer is to note that all preliminaries items given in

preliminaries which have not been specifically priced, are
deemed to be included in the tender.

7 Please advise us on your panel of sub-contractors (if any) for

their respective works and provide a copy of their profile and
license and relevant project experiences.

8 All level and setting out works shall be carried out by

Engineer's approved licensed surveyor. For computation of any
bulk excavation of earthwork (if any), the pre and post
excavation must be surveyed by the same approved licensed
surveyor. For rock excavation (i.e. including over-blasting to the
required level), the survey must be carried out by the said
licensed surveyor prior to back filling to the required building
platform level. Please confirm.

9 Prior to commencement of any works at Site, the Contractor is

responsible to check against the Original Ground Level and
satisfied that all levels given are accurate and genuine. In the
event of any discrepancies, the Contractor should write to the
Engineer immediately and waits for the Engineer's further
instruction.

10 Please take note that demolition of existing structures (wall,

drain, and etc) if any, shall be properly carried out and all
demolished structures/construction debris shall be exported to
Contractor's own dumping site.

11 The Contractor is required to maintain the temporary access to
and within his Site during the entire Contract period which
considered in the Preliminaries. Please take note.

12 In order to maintain the cleanliness of existing roads and also

to mitigate the dust pollution resulted from your Works, you
are required to provide and maintain water tanker for regular
cleaning of the Works during the entire contract period for
compliance with statutory authorities requirements

13 Please submit the method statement, work programme, site

organization chart, piling product, and list of machinery specific
to this site.

14 Please note that piling machine availability is part of

contractor's obligation.

15 Please note that minimum pile length should be from

calculation of Skin Friction and End Bearing using SI Results for
sufficient Geotechnical Capacity

16 Please note that NO Dolly will be allowed for Set Calculation to

avoid False Set

17 Please note that rectification for piles eccentricity individually

and in groups exceeding 75mm are part of piling contractors
responsibility and cost

18 Please note that additional piles due to breakage, hard driving,

failure of piles joint etc due to contractor's fault shall be borne
by contractor else if due to ground condition shall be part of
the contractual works. Similarly MLT and PDA Test for Failed
piles are to be borne by the contractor.
