SCHOOL CONTRACT AND DATA PRIVACY CONSENT

Dear Parent/Guardian,

As technology is a more widely used form of communication with parents and the wider community, we must be aware
also of the privacy factors of everyone and especially keep the best interest of the students in mind.

Please read this page carefully as it includes information about safety and security issues associated with privacy.

The school respects your child’s right to privacy and aims to comply with the requirements of all relevant privacy and data
protection laws, particularly the Data Privacy Act of 2012. In the interest of safety and security, the School requires parent
permission for the publishing of your child’s Personal Information such as names, photographs and videos on all school
publications whether it is our own websites, Facebook page, newsletters, or material published about the School by
outside organizations.

We believe it is important to celebrate children’s achievement, but are aware of the potential risks when such Personal
Information or material is published on a global information system such as the Internet. Moreover, at RCAMES Cluster 5
& 6, we use Google Workspace, RFID Attendance System, and OrangeApps School Management System in processing your
child’s personal information. Thus, we are seeking your permission to provide and manage the Google Workspace, RFID
Attendance System, and OrangeApps School Management System accounts for your child.

Google Workspace is a set of education productivity tools from Google including Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Classroom, and
more used by tens of millions of students and teachers around the world. RFID Attendance System is a tool used to process
your child’s personal information to monitor the attendance and to send announcements while the physical RFID card
functions as their school ID. OrangeApps School Management System is a tool used to store and organize student
information such as, but not limited to, profile, family background, grades, and scholastic records. It is also a tool used to
deploy and track your child’s online learning courses and activities. At our institution, students will use their Google
Workspace, RFID and OrangeApps accounts to complete assignments, communicate with their teachers, and learn 21st
century digital citizenship skills.

I give permission to create/maintain Google Workspace, RFID and
OrangeApps accounts for my child and for the 3rd-party providers to collect,
use, and process information about my child only for the purposes described
in the notice stated in the Data Privacy Policies of the School.
I give permission to my child to undergo Guidance and Testing
Center Services, if necessary. These may be in the form of counseling,
psychological testing, seminars or homeroom programs, orientations, and
the provision of relevant information.

*Please ensure that you have discussed this with your child and that he/she understands the importance of Privacy and
cyber safety issues surrounding the use of online material.

All information shall be used by the School for legitimate purposes specifically for above mentioned permission and shall
be processed by authorized personnel in accordance with the Data Privacy Policies of the School. I hereby allow and
authorize the School to use, collect and process the information. We have carefully read and understood all the policies,
rules and regulations stipulated in this Handbook and hereby agree to abide by all provisions provided therein.
