 Demonstration – it is a method of instruction as involving the viewing of a real or lifelike


example executed by the tutor or learner. It is a particular skills or technique in the execution
of a particular activity.
 Whole Group Instruction- is a direct instruction using traditional textbooks or supplemental
materials. It is sometimes called as whole class instruction.
 Small Group Instruction- usually follows whole group instruction to reinforce or reteach
specific skills and concepts.

 One-to-one Instruction
 One-to-one Classes- is different because the teacher is only teaching one student only.

 Collaborative Learning
- is an educational approach to teaching and learning that involves groups of students
working with each other.

 Benefits of Collaborative Learning


- Turns learning into a truly active process
- Promotes learning from other’s viewpoints
- Teaches how to think critically and quickly
- Promotes listening to criticism and advice
- Develops public speaking and active listening skills
- Improves cooperation

 Independent Learning
- learning can be individually or in group but without the supervision of the teacher.
 Benefits of Independent Learning
- Improved academic performance
- Increased motivation and confidence
- Greater student awareness of their limitations and their ability to manage them
- Enabling teachers to provide differentiated tasks for students
- Fostering social inclusion by countering alienation

 Physical Environment is the areas or places that learning takes place.


 Environment
- is defined as the physical environment, its surroundings and a specific setting

 Benefits of Play in the Environment


- It offers children opportunity to learn about the self, others and the physical
environment
- Children learn how to interact with peers
- Play is vital for every child
- Children use play to relax anxiety and tension

 Guided Activity
- This type of activity is often independent but can also be cooperative as long as you
ensure that all students are mastering concepts individually.

Focused Exploration

 The time in the inquiry learning process when the students are ready to investigate a
challenge.

Elements of Focused Exploration

 Exploration focuses on a specific task or challenged


 Science Talks- are used to share ideas, and even to introduce a challenge
 Exploration- becomes more teacher-focused and more teacher-directed, while still validating
student’s ideas and theories.

Free Exploration

 No limit to learning
 Giving the students the opportunity to discover and explore things freely.
 Allows the student to experience new materials on their own terms without having their
learning lead to narrowly specified directions.
