understanding of cause-and-effect relationships through a creative role-
play activity.
Instructions:
The teacher will:
1. Form a circle with the class.
2. Start a simple story by saying
a sentence that includes a
cause. For example, "Sunny
forgot to bring his lunch to
school."
3. Choose a student to continue the story by adding an effect. For example,
"Because he had no lunch, Sunny felt hungry and sad."
4. The next student adds a new cause based on the effect. For example,
"Sunny's friend, Mia, shared her sandwich with him."
5. Continue the story, with each student adding a cause and an effect to
build on the previous parts.
6. Try to keep the story logical and make sure the causes and effects
connect well.
7. As the story progresses, discuss how the causes lead to specific
effects.
8. Once the story is complete, reflect on how the different causes and
effects were connected.
